Incorrect Calendar
Handy and easy to use TV guide. I've been using it for years. It's useful, as it lets you search a couple weeks ahead, and has a category for viewing just films, from your saved channels. However, the calendar is incorrect at the minute, and it's hard to know when things are actually on. For instance, I searched for "The A-Team", and it has the 23rd August 2024 listed as Thursday, but it is in fact a Friday. So, is the programme on Thursday 22nd, or Friday 23rd? I have to check against the TV guide on my telly, nearer the time. Also, the search feature is not the best. You have to type the entire title, normally, in order to get results. Example: "Star Trek" - No films. "Star Trek Into Darkness" - Results.
I hope they fix the calendar issue, and improve the search engine. Other than that, it's a stellar app, in my opinion.Show lessclaresiphone
Freeview Channel Update
This is a message to the developers as your feedback website is down and you don’t answer emails. Freeview channel 65 is still showing as That’s Christmas but it has been That's TV 2 since the beginning of January. Can you amend it please? Very good reliable app
This is a great app but it would be great if the Mini ‘time select’ cloud in the ‘Movies’ view could be on the left of the screen rather than the right - every time I tap on a movie I accidentally hit the ‘time select’ column as well and it jumps to another timeJez Pritchatt
Adverts get in the way
Been using this app for years on the iPhone and it’s been great. Totally get I’m using the free version and that comes with adverts however in the last month or two some of the adverts seem impossible to close. The X appears top left of the screen and when you press it the iPhone thinks you want to go back to the last app you were using. This makes the app unusable and I’m going to have to find an alternative I guess.Show lessIJHitman
Best tv guide I’ve found
This is perhaps the best guide I’ve found - worth paying the premium to get rid of adverts…. Nicely laid out and easy to use - good for looking up all films too.
Developers are good. Recent CTD issue was resolved by friendly and keen development team, even sending me an email to tell me the update was in the store.
Service and attention like that is hard to beat.. recommend this appShow lessStendec341
Sudden unexpected failure
I have been using this app for over 3 years without any problem. For the last few days, the app has failed to open properly and closes immediately after being opened on my I-Pad. Uninstalling and then re-installing the app has failed to fix the crash. It is displaying the same problem on my wife’s IPad as well. Keeps crashing
Even though there are a number of irritating problems with this app (read other reviews) it is still the one I like the most with the watch list and daily reminder list. But after the update a couple of days ago it won’t work, keeps crashing, and I’ve done all I can to sort it and others have said you cannot seem to get any support. If I go long enough without it I am sure I will settle for something else - so devs, get it sorted, listen to people pleaseShow lesspairie fairy
Crashes on opening
Was working fine and a great app, but since last update 17th June? App crashes on opening and screen goes back to devices home page. Only way of notifying operators is via review. Marked it five star as I hope this fault is picked up soon and can again use this great useful app.Ronald Sway
Appaling screen usage for ads
Since you have now grabbed half the screen for ads the app is impossible to use. A discrete banner ad is one thing, but this is the worst UI I've ever seen. Update: now some of the ads are full screen. This is utterly crap. Get your funding another way and stop hiding the data. Ads need to be peripheral and not in the way. Update #2 Feb 15 Now it just displays a drinks ad full screen and after clicking X it displays nothing at all. You should be learn how to program and stop wasting our time. Amateurs! Why not develop a paid version? Update #3 3 Jun 22: you are now repeatedly showing a full screen ad for FXCM it is impossible to clear and just locks up the screen.Show lessTodSweeney
