  • Can we link it to Apple Books?

Good app, but ifs it possible to link it to Apple Books so that it can help me read books?
  • Use this all the time. Very handy dictionary!

Search by English, pinyin, or HanZi. They all will give you results. I would give it 5 stars except not all the words have one particular feature, which I value a lot. Many of the words have a brush-sroke animation and practice panel —but some do not.
I believe some of the less-frequent characters are the culprits missing this additional feature. So, because of this, only 4 stars.
  • Best one.

I gave many Chinese English and vice versa apps but Huaying is my go to and my favorite. 5星级! 赞!
  • Best French Chinese dictionary

Thanks for the author for his tremendous work! The dictionary is easy to use, and very informal.
  • Excellent Chinese app

It is particularly good if I try to look Chinese word or phrases
  • Simply awesome, whatever your level of Chinese

I've just returned from a two-week business and sightseeing trip to China. I know some Mandarin, so for after work chit-chatting or just getting around, Huaying proved itself essential--and accurate-- throughout my stay. Better still, my Chinese colleagues quickly started using Huaying on my device to find just the right way to express themselves in English! This is a most superb app.
  • So wonderful

I love this app. It is useful. I downloaded the pronunciation file and fell in love. It beats many dictionaries down!
  • Must Have

Learning Chinese right now and this app is a must have! Very simple and intuitive to use. 99% of the time it does the job. High points to the developers.

Recommendations: although font is really cool, it is sometimes confusing because it does not follow exactly the orig brushstroke concepts. Not a great loss. Would love to see truer meanings of individual characters- many times resorts to "surname" as meaning if it is part of a string of characters. Would love to get more history and origins of words but maybe too much to ask for a free app?

Again, "thank you" to the developers.
  • One of the best dict. apps ever!!!

My other app KTDict is pretty awesome, but it doesn't have a native narrator. I like this app because it says how to pronounce the word. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR LINGUISTS...BUT the app tends to crash a lot
