  • Instant hit

Well, we just installed this and had an instant 30-40 mins of play. My 3 year old didn't lose focus once. she needed a bit of help on a few of the screens, but because the style of game is repeated every 5 or 6 screens then she got the hang of things easily without getting bored.

The sticker screen is a nice reward after the tasks, and also teaches them to drag and drop items in screen without any pressure.

A couple of things which have stopped it being a 5 star:

    1) I would like to see an option for an English voice as well as American, I think it would have greater appeal.

    2) We're teaching our child the phonetic alphabet, and when the monkey asks which letter the fruit starts with it's always non-phonetic. Again, perhaps another option that parents could choose in the settings section?

Overall a massive success, she now is looking forward to showing her Mum how good she is on it.

  • Excellent!!!

Mes enfants ont 2 et 4 ans et ils se disputent le iPod pour jouer à ce jeu (même après un mois d'utilisation).
C'est très captivant et facile à comprendre même pour le plus jeune.
Excellente initiation au iPod pour les petits.
  • Wonderful Game!

This is a great game for preschoolers and even a little older. I got this game for my 4 year old nephew and he loves it. His favorite part of the game is the fruit matching (oh, and the stickers of course)! The only thing I would change would be the counting part. The number of fruit is already on the screen, and as the child touches the fruit it is counted aloud by the game and put in the lunchbox. This is great for children learning their numbers one to ten - hearing the numbers as they touch the fruit, but it would be great if there was an option for kids that aleady know their numbers to have to count the fruit themselves. But hey, my nephew, who does know his numbers, still absolutely loves this game and asks for it all the time, so I still rate this a solid 5 stars. Most definitely worth the money.

  • fun, but the game doesn't end.

hey folks. Great app for the price. As you know, 3 to 5 year olds have problems with transitioning. When my son starts playing, it's more difficult to pry my iPhone outta his hands even when I tell him; "You can play the game for 2 more minutes, and then we have to put it away". The game never stops, it just keeps going and going which allows many children to think that the game is not over. If I was able to tell my son that he could play one more game or round, it would be easier for him (and I) to transition him off of the game. Attention game creators: consider adding a "round option" for your next update.

  • BEST APP U CAN GET FOR UR KIDS!!!! LOVE IT AMAZING!!!!

My son will be 3 in july. And i have him where he is doing the your baby can read. And can already read about 20 words. So when i get him games i try to have them fun but still learning things and using his brain. That is this app all the way. The puzzles I thought he would have a hard time but by the end of the first day he had them. He loves it. He is playing it rightnow. And he gets so happy when he gets it correct. He thinks he is playing a video game yet he is learing his colors, bigger and smaller, match making and so much more. Its a great app and I suggest this to EVERYONE. I would pay alot more for this one..

  • My Twins fight over this game.

My twins have learned so much from such a simple but well thought out game. The Ipad tought them how to do manipulate things and not just randomly poke at things. They have advanced more in a month from just the memory and puzzle games than any "traditional game." The feedback from the monkey gives them a unique incentive. The sticker board is a great way to break up the games and makes them feel like they are being rewarded. I don't know how long it will hold their interest but if they stopped now it would be worth it. Great concept and interface.

  • Love this app for pre-schoolers!

First, this app is best for 3-5 years if they have not entered Kindergarten yet. My daughter who just turned 4 could easily do this after a couple of tries and she LOVES it. There is a "chose a sticker" wall that is overburdened with her selections, as each couple of rounds you complete, you get to choose from a number of very cute graphic stickers. The only improvement I'd like is that it allow you to graduate to harder levels. For example, the counting part could as a next level ask the child to put three apples in the lunchbox where there would be six showing - currently the exact amount is shown and the program announces the number each time they drag the apple to the lunchbox. The puzzles would be easy - just make them more pieces each time they master the previous set. There is a colors section and a size section, both of which could easily be expanded on as they succeed in the previous level. For the money, this is totally worth it and it's a great intro to educational games for this age group. I really hope they put out other versions because I will definitely keep buying them! If for no other reason, so my daughter plays something different!!

  • for very young

this is an awesome learning game that keeps kids going by changing the games from word match to puzzle to the others listed one after the other. pleasant characters. BUT...no age or level of difficulty adjustments so buy only for this level: four piece puzzle, choose first letter of fruit with word spelled out right there, 8 card matching game, find X fruits... but ithas exact amount shown and simply counts them out as the kid touches them... to 7 or so, find which of 4 fruit doesn't match, find the 'blue' fruits... great for that age when your just introducing letters and numbers, etc....not any more advanced than that.

  • 3 year olds delight!

My daughter plays this every day....and loves it. Yes it IS short and yes it IS relatively easy for her, but it is great fun and very rewarding for toddlers....oh, and its cheap! So get it, and then loose your iphone for almost all car journeys, while sat at the table in restaurants or waiting for the doctor! Mint....just get it!

  • Fantastic! A must have for toddlers

My 22 month old has been playing with this game for 3-4 months. At first she just loved the colours and sounds, but now she can complete the puzzles, match all the fruit and name colours and most of the fruits. It's helped her with her counting and recognising colours, people are amazed at how good and quick she is. But there is still so much to learn and it will grow with her. I have flash cards and a piano for her but this games she (relentlessly!) asks to play.
