  • Prefect Game

Perfect game when you're waiting at the doctor's or where ever & don't want to read the old magazines. Glad for the update for the current iOS.
  • Meh

Fun gameplay, but intensely frustrating. Tiles don't move well, and controls (buttons) are hard to use easily (jumbled together and not clear in their iconography). Also, it's odd how I have NEVER drawn a wild. The computer ALWAYS plays them in its final play... Amazing odds on that happening.
  • Like the older version better

I second what others have said. Mine quits in the middle and takes me back a few games. Scoring doesn't make sense. I have to tap the deal button several times for it to respond, probably due to the # of cards left refreshing (I'm used to the old speed). The color scheme seems a bit blander, although I'm still on a iPhone 3GS, so it might be that. Otherwise, still extremely addicted :)

  • Not as good as before

I've played this game for a few years but the last update changed the scoring and it doesn't make sense to me anymore. The screen with table of scores is in portrait orientation while the game is in landscape orientation, forcing you to turn the phone if you want to read it. I find it an annoying screen since there really isn't any useful information. And then you get a dialog box that asks you to continue or start new game, which is unnecessary since if you select continue, absolutely nothing happens since the game is over. Definitely a disappointment from the precious method of scoring, which made more sense. Otherwise, the game is great!

  • Thank you Gerard!

I've been Playing this developer's Romi game on my Mac for years. I play it every day, and never get tired of it. I'm so glad to find it for the iPhone. I was worried that the tiles would be too small, but I've played several games now with no problem -- and I have large fingers for a female. Someone mentioned that the tiles could not be moved once placed, but I have not had that problem, so maybe it's been fixed. Someone else mentioned that you cannot see the computer's left-over tiles when the game ends. You can. On the computer version, you would click the hour glass to see what's left. On the iPhone version, click on the little computer icon and you'll see them. I love having a variety of backgrounds to choose from. Thank you, Gerard, for bringing my favorite 'little' game to my phone so I can take it with me everywhere. :-)

If your getting this app from the app store, get the iPhone version because it'll save you a dollar

If your getting this for your iPhone and you have large fingers then I don't recommend wasting the money

It is surprising when you lose because you don't get to see how many tiles the opponent has

Hope you don't waste your money

  • AI needs improving, last update broke the game

1st - most recent update broke the game on my 2G iPod Touch - the tiles move in the opposite direction that you drag them on the board, making the game unplayable.

2nd - although this game is very addictive, the AI needs improving - I have found the key to beating it almost every time.

UPDATE - latest version still does not work on 2G iPod Touch w/ latest iOS. Going to try and get a refund as this point has been made by several reviewers over several versions and it is still not fixed.

  • Unusable on IPod 2

It wasn't broke why did you have to fix it? How about putting previous version back up?
  • problem after update

like the other poster said... once the tiles are on the board its difficult to move them. Please check into this and fix..... LOVE THE GAME!! 5 stars before the update
  • Uh oh

After the last update, once the tiles are on the table, you are unable to move them to a different part of the table. Please fix !!!!!! Other than that I love this game !!!!!
