Game Changer!
I love this app, I use it every time I am at the range, and using the 3:1 tempos have led to a more balanced swing with increased distance. The thing that I have been most impressed with is the way that I can take what I worked on during my practice session out onto the course; the tones are simple enough that even without playing them I can recall them while I'm playing, and it has led to better ball striking, more distance and better results! Tour Tempo Sucess
I have been working very diligently on my swing over the past 4 years. My results have been very good. I now have a proper inside out swing plane, make solid ball contact and generally a consistent and predictable swing. The last remaining area that Has been elusive is distance. I am very physically fit and flexible, but generally the consensus is I lack swing speed. I have been working on this last season and since Feb this off season. I read the article last week in Golf mag, downloaded the app and started swinging with the Tour Tempo. The very next day I played and swung with the tempo reverberating in my head. The results were positive. I have practiced using the iPad playing the tempo and played one more time. Yesterday while again practicing with the Tour Tempo I measured my swing speed and saw an increase of 5.5 percent. I reached a speed of 102 mph, first time ever over 100 mph and this only after one week. This works.Show lessWaynekf
Overpriced
$25 is way too much for this app.
Swing Tempo provides the same functionality, but without the extra bells and whistles for $2. Other programs are out there to help develop a good swing. I've been very pleased with Swing Reader, which has helped me get on plane.

Tour Tempo good product
I downloaded the app for my iphone. I also purchased the Tour Tempo frame counter. It was great to see my swing frame by frame. I am a 4 handicap and like most golfers sometimes my swing gets out of wack. I believe it is due to my tempo. Specifically on windy days where I feel the need to swing harder. I went to the range and listened to the tones while hitting a bucket of balls. I found the tones which worked with my swing and found I was making better contact with the ball. I then went to the bunker where I have been having problems. I used the short tones and found immediate results. I found out I was taking to long of a swing which was not helping me execute the shot. The short tones got me back into rhythm. I can't wait to get the micro player and try it out on the course. Like another person said in their review, the cost is not that expensive equating it to a few buckets of balls at the driving range. Add in the cost of private lessons and I think you are ahead of the game. I believe this product is great for the golfer who already understands their game and just needs to fine tune it when something breaks down in the timing of their swing.Show lessBiglesworth
Definitely not worth the price
If this app were priced at $0.99 it might be worth it. But at 25 bucks it is a joke. If no stars were an option, that is where I would rate it. Save your money - go to a music store and get a metronome - does same thing for a lot less.RE18141
Great idea
Tour tempo is a great tool. Unfortunately playing the tones over and over and over isn't as helpful as they could be. If the spacing between each set was random I would have given this app 5 stars. The constant rhythm makes it very tough to react(not anticipate) the upcoming tones.Josh. B
BOOM....
Bought this app after debating the cost... Downloaded, listened to the instructions and headed to the range ASAP! This training aid did not fail to produce results straight away for me - amazing so happy with my irons and driving results.
Not sure how competent you need to be at swinging a club in order to get the maximum benefit first of all.
Next task is to try the short game tones, but I believe this will help big time with my tempo and I hope I can translate it to the course effectively.
