Great app

It's easy to create a beat, randomize it and come up with long sequences that have lots of variation on the theme.
I would highly recommend this app for people who love to randomize beats and find new ideas.

Excellent.

Great update

I like this thing and the new effects are really good!
Hopefully some other effects can be added too. Delay would be awesome and take it to yet another level in my opinion.

Just got back in to this awesome app
Edit: how about audiobus? That would be awesome for effects possibilities. I'll save that last star for that.

Good stuff. Thanks!

Go to beat maker

More fun than any other beat maker I've used.

Great sounding synth!

A stellar sounding synth for a tight electro sound! I just wish it had full midi support and a song or fill mode ;)

Minimal, functional, and great sound

This is truly my favourite music making app on iOS. It sounds awesome, has just enough params, and has an efficient UI for writing and manipulating patterns.

I've been using it for many years and I always come back to it.

My only complaint is that the params for shaping the sound are a bit fiddly, but apart from that, I have pretty much everything I want in a drum machine.

Simple and powerful FTW.

great drum synth/machine app

I would never have thought that anything this limited (a monophonic, albeit very changeable per beat, drum synth) could be so creative and inspirational. I hope people will continue to buy it, and that the dev will continue to develop it. Randomizing of drum patterns might be a nice start, perhaps with three settings (sparse, normal, dense) for pattern creation. Also, IAA might be nice. But as it is, this is a great app.

Simple fun and powerful

This is a fun and useful app. It's great for quickly making a quirky little beat or two to work with. I use it a lot.

rad

cool and simple : )

Best drum synth in the game!

This is one of the most creative, elegant and playful music apps to ever be released on the iOS platform. Simple controls, clever DSP, and an intuitive UI make Tweaky Beat one of the oddball treasures of iOS music making. Brilliant stuff!

This thing is pretty cool!

Hello, Casey Koplin aka Ck13 here, I don't usually write reviews but this quirky sequencer style beat machine with the heat and soul of an original NES and an Atari 2600, it has some synth-like controls and is easy to program, in like 10 min of tinkering after watching a brief tutorial I had created 7 parts of a song, I can totally see useing this mixed with other apps by just multi-tracking it in cubasis (my fav Daw, I have almost all of them that are in this store) like from what I see from playing around with it for a day now, it's way more useful than it first appears, it's UI is so simple it's seems like it's just a toy noise maker, but no it's actually a neat new tool, it seems to keep time perfect and switching patterns is really smooth, everything's works perfectly, mixing the sounds on here with others to add bass, "normal" drums, and it is very possible to create some cool electronic music that will have a retro vibe by default, once you start to remember what block color make which sound, your good to go, the controls are simple and effective, and with audiobus, putting some effects on it it does what it does and it does it well, if your after something that makes that "8-bit" video game" sound, look no further, this one is right on!
