A lot less news up front
Old version gave me a lot of news with little hassle. Now it’s not as easy to get to the news, beyond whatever headlines are up front

Brainwashing news are everywhere. Just had it enough, disgusting.
Suggestion
Is a little gem-although there is no ability to save & read stories later. I would appreciate the save and read later “function”. Is good to hear NEWS from the Chinese perspective though.
New Version is a Step Backwards
This remains a great source of News about China and China’s view of the world. It is not an independent news source and its editorial policy is strongly pro China, as you would expect.
The new version simplified the layout but makes navigation much harder and so it is now much harder to find the articles that interest me. There is now a bilingual section that is good for those studying Chinese, but they rarely use Chinese characters in main news stories. This would be helpful for understanding names etc.

Excellent Interesting & Informative
China Daily has recently become the most informative source of information on China and related to China.

Rotate?
Come on, rotate to landscape. It’s a simple enough feature. The lack of rotate puts China Daily and its app at a disadvantage to other news sources.
Next, greater scalability of that font size please. On the 30cm iPad Pro even with the smallest font size selected I feel I can read this from across the room.
