IAPs are bad value for money
I played the original red ball a long time ago and purchased all the original levels. These were of good quality and red ball was one of my favourite apps at the time.
However, returning to the game, and buying the new IAPs because of nostalgia, did not find the same quality as I did before. Some of the new 2D levels are good but many have very generic gameplay and half of them aren’t even named. They certainly don’t have the same level of creativity that were in the original.
The 3D levels aren’t fun. Most of the time there is a weird red loading filter every time you die and performance is often poor. They are also just the original levels and aren’t changed to accommodate the change of perspective.
The new engine is also a confusing change. It allows things that weren’t possible before and I find the ball far more difficult to handle. Sometimes when I jump, especially on curved surfaces, the ball doesn’t seem to react.
I really want to like the changes and addition this game made since I last played it. I support pay-once apps and games where I can. But the IAPs in this game, other than the ‘world 1’ levels are just not good value for money and the new engine is strange. So I’m recommending people don’t buy them:Show lessIcklenom

It’s good but...
I like it. All of the levels are very fun... except for the ones you have to pay for!!!! I had this app a while ago, like 5 years ago, maybe even before that, and I LOVED it because you didn’t need to pay for any of the levels. The levels are so much fun, which makes it even more sad that you need to pay for them. When I had the app before, I noticed that I liked that levels at the end best. But now I need to pay for them😰😰😰 I still like the ones that you don’t need to pay for though!!!Show lessz o e💖💖💖
Just play the computer version
The computer version everything is free. Here you have to pay money to play just 10 levels. When I finished the free levels I just uninstalled the game. I wish my mom would let me buy more levels but I bought a lot of things lately 😢.
Literally nobody likes this game. I mean there are some people but they just don’t know what good games are.
You might as well make players pay 8$ to even play the free levels as it is not even worth downloading it for free just to play 7 levels. Just make it 1.99 to buy all the levelsShow lessChampsterTheChamp

I find the graphics are extremely poor and it is wrong that you have to pay to proceed in the game. Plus, there are adverts after every level.
On the home screen, all the levels look "squished". But it is absolutely wrong that you have to pay money to progress through the levels.
It is a waste of storage and time. Avoid. I was actually considering to rate it 0 stars. At least the levels are possible.Show lessMrhorserider

The developers of this game have sold out. I have enjoyed this game for many years and when I saw this update I was excited. When I opened the app I was horrified. It's filled with ads and it ruined the original game. Put it back now!!
UPDATE.. U CAN GET THE ORIGINAL BACK!!!1. Delete the newer, undesired version of the app on the iPod or iPad by touching the icon until apps start to flash on the device screen and then touch the "X" on the app to delete it.
2. Plug the iPod or iPad into the Mac.
3. Open iTunes
4. In iTunes, click on the iPod or iPod listed under "DEVICES" to select it.
5. In iTunes, click on "Apps" in the header of the device window at right.
6. Scroll down to find the name of the App, which will have the box to the left of its name unselected (which means it was deleted on the device).
7. Click that empty box to select it with a checkmark showing.
8. Click "Apply" at the lower right in the iTunes device window to restore the previous version to the device.
9. Wait for the sync to complete.

5 years I played this game everyday
I looked at my phone today and could not believe what I saw. FINALLY my dream had come true. More levels for my favorite and most underrated app Red Ball! I have enjoyed playing this game for half a decade and could not express my joy of seeing more levels, especially after all this time.
Unfortunately, this update takes away everything that makes Red Ball unique. Red Ball was an app that challenged me and kept me entertained for 5 years, this is a feat no other app has achieved. To see it be stripped away of everything that made it perfect, fills my soul with overwhelming sadness. I am now left with non-repetitive, ad-filled, boring, garbage on my phone. If I wanted that I would have just downloaded Red Ball 2 or Red Ball 3.

Not Cool!!
I bought this game a fee years back and it included all 17 levels that my son completed. He went back to play it again a few days ago and we realized that not only did it delete his progress but now it seems that we have to repay for the last 10 levels. I refuse to pay for something I previously owned and have deleted the game. Good game though...Show lessMhashc
