Dont bother
The flash on this is ridiculous! You can only use the flash on photos you are about to take. You cant add it to photos already taken. It may brighten up a dull photo, but trying to use it in a dark environment where you actually need a flash is impossible.
I recommend A+ Camera Flash... its free, you can add the "flash" afterwards, it actually works, & you can adjust the brightness & contrast.Show lessavecsucre

This camera app is better then the default and the quality is very good even when you zoom in up close it's Like apple have missed adding these features to there cam software. I highly recommend this, it also has a quick black and white icon.Unknown2010
Simple to use and effective
I was not expecting much as am delighted to find this app is simple to use and effective. The zoom works like a charm and the speed is great. Why wouldn't you pick it up? Glad I did.GTcroft

Normally I don't complain about free aps. Infact, even if there are just OK I will say they are good as its pretty ungreatful to complain about something you get for free. However, this app annoyed me so much I need to say something. I didn't expect it to suddenly brigthen every image like a proper flash would, but to at least improve the picture. Insetad I find that one of two things happens... in a bright-ish environment the 'flash' lightens up the bright areas and leave the dark areas dark (which you can do yourself by palying with the contrast on your iPhoto)... in a dark-ish environment the camera freaks out and ends up making the photo look like a drunk Andy Warhol painting. Nice try but it certainly won't entice me to buy the upgrade out later this month.Show lesstheboycalledsacha
