I really enjoy this app!
This is one app I come back to time after time. I love how simple and intuitive the game is to play. The challenge of different levels works for me, since on days I want to relax I play easier levels and when I want to challenge myself there are always the harder levels.
Sudoku is a game I enjoy while not being gifted at. When I master a new level, that is solve it without using hints at all, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I’ve even managed the simpler levels without using pencil marks!

Could do with a couple of tweaks
Just a couple of ideas. :) May 2017.... Don't like the font sizes on the "end of game, next game" scenario. Don't know why I review as nothing good comes from it!? I think the game should not penalise you for a mistake you immediately correct. Like just now, made a mistake but corrected myself within half a second. Played on then saw I got penalised 8 minutes or something for a mistake I spotted and corrected myself. The game should NOT be so quick showing the mistake and applying the penalty.... A year later and it still penalises you for a mistake you make AND correct less than a second later.... Oh yes! I’ve played about 50,000 games! Yes! That is fifty thousand!!!!
It’s now the start of August 2024 and the game still punishes you for a misplacement you correct within a couple of seconds. This is the ONLY bad thing about this App. I have now played over 100K games at “Difficult” level…. 🙏👍

Most functional I’ve found
I love Sudoku and have tried many apps and websites, but this app has the best functionality by far, IMO. You can enter numbers in two different ways, so you can fill in all the squares containing a certain digit or you can fill in all the digits that belong in one square. This really makes the difference when solving for speed. The hints function doesn’t just fill in a cell; it guides you through the reasoning and teaches you about strategy so you learn as you play. I wish the NYT sudoku app was half as functional as this one!

Excellent Sudoku app
With many levels of difficulty there are daily puzzles for everyone. I really like the hint and learn more features as different solving strategies occur in the different levels, some of which you don’t see very often in other apps. Thoroughly recommended!
IT LETS YOU COLOR
I downloaded 17 apps to find one that would let me color squares. It can’t be that hard of a function to implement, right?
Anyways, thank the lord. Two note though (if you still update this app:
1-you should make it easier for people to know how to color. I had to go all the way into settings just to find the option, which I didn’t find on my first download of the app. Google had to help me on that one
2-if recommend advertising that you can color with this app, I’m sure you’ll get some extra traction from more advance sudoku players looking to color. Maybe change your name to “Sudoku:Color” or something like that (which is the first thing I searched for)

The Best Sudoku App
My dad installed this same app on my iPod touch 10 years ago, and since then, I have played over 100,000 games. I have made sure to back up every device I’ve had to make sure this app get installed, even if it get removed from the app store. This will always be my favorite sudoku app and I will never stop using it as long as I am able to.

Je n’ai pas trouvé mieux et je ne cherche pas d’ailleurs.
Avoir une version française serait bien.
Je trouve que le texte dans la section “Learn” manque de clarté. Les explications sont incomplètes. C’est sans doute suffisant pour un habitué, mais ça manque de détails pour un débutant.
Il faudrait parlé aussi de stratégie, genre débuter en trouvant ceci ou cela, ensuite chercher cette prochaine chose, etc.. si, par exemple, tu cherches des “finned fish” sans avoir déniché les solitaires et les rectangles, tu va faire beaucoup d’erreurs.
