A great application
As a linguist, I always need a word's definition. The explanation of words and phrases is clear; synonyms are a good advantage and the application is quick and easy to use. To make it perfect, some typical sentences that will demonstrate the current usage could be of a huge benefit.

Pretty good!
I found everything I wanted. Screen is very pretty, results are Colour coded. It shows pronunciation too. Only downfall and reason for -1 star is that it can't read out loud...
Want a new word?
This is a great little app for those who either work with or want to better understand the English language. If you were to buy a paper based version with these features you would pay a few pounds. I looked at the full version which was 59p (99c) and I could not see any difference, so i am sorry I want free.
I am sure that you will find a great use for this, if not you could always delete it!
I did have a problem downloading it through itunes, but it came daown the 2nd time.
