  • Works for me

    This is the app recommended by Volek and Phinney in The Art and Science of Carbohydrate Living. The important thing to remember is that the app averages your weight. Each day when you input your daily number, the monitor tells you where you should be that day in order to meet your set weight goal and date. And it averages your numbers to account for daily fluctuations in water weight. It encourages me to stay on track. I like it.

    If you dont weigh in everyday this graph is rubbish

    You do not need to add a weight for every day. The rolling average gives you an indication of what your weight should be for the days that you do not enter a value.
  • Every day or won't work

    No dieter should weigh in every day. Fact. This graph is all over the place if you don't put in a daily weight!
    Made by thin people who have never been on a diet I think! Junk.

    You do not have to add a weight in every day. The App copes with this and shows you the rolling average to compensate for day when no weight is entered.
  • This is great.

    I really don't understand why people are having a problem. It does exactly as described. The blue line shows your weight loss goal in the time to achieve it. The red is your loss or gain on that day. The green line is the average of the two. If you gain but your average (green) is below the blue, you are on track to achieve your goal. As far as changing your time frame, just go to preferences and change them! Duh

  • Units not able to change

    Tried to use the kg option but it only allows me to use pounds. No good to me, false advertising, waste of $1. Probably useful if you want that option.
  • More graph options please

    I really like this app, easy to use and looks good but I would like to be able to see all my progress on one graph rather than just a month at a time. It would be more satisfying to see the dropping weight from start to present.

    I purchased this app. It is not worth the 99 cents.
    The numbers are wonky and the chart is inaccurate. If I put my weight in at 119 it might show on the chart as 120. Just didn't make sense.

    The chart is awkward and amateurish.

    I deleted this app after trying to use it for a few weeks.
  • Confusing and disappointing

    I bought this app as a result of a recommendation in the book, The Art and Science of Low Carb Living. I love the concept of calculating an average and was prepared to love this app, but I don't. First of all, as a highly educated early adopter, I'm not very often confused about HOW to use an app. I was with this one. The opening steps give inadequate directions along with a dire warning that once you enter your start and end date you will never be able to change them. There is no info, however, about how to chose. For instance, is my "end" date today, my goal time frame for weight loss, or as long as I intend to use the app? Also, although there are directions in the app store description, there is no help, FAQ, etc in the App itself. I haven't deleted it yet, but I think I'm likely to.

  • Great application! Works exactly as described!

    This application works great! And exactly as described. Read the entire explanation of the app before buying. The developer explains it perfectly. Got a question? Go to the developer's web site and he'll respond quickly.

    The app provides a visual representation of your weight loss. You should be weighing yourself every day - and at the same time every day - to help get an accurate picture of your weight. This app produces a green ten-day moving average line to help represent your true weight. You also define your own weight target and the length of time you want to take to get there. The app shows a blue line that displays your goal weight each day on your path to your target weight. Keep your current weight and your moving average under the blue line to achieve your target weight. Simple and easy to read. And completely customizable.

  • Must wiegh everyday

    If you don't weigh yourself everyday, this isn't great. I only weigh once a week, as advised by MANY weight loss specialists, and the graphing does all kinds weird stuff if not wieghing everyday.
