  • Great app

It does exactly what it says it does. For free. With no ads. I've got knockd setup on a linux box running SSH and VNC. Now I can access it from my iPhone with just that extra little bit of security.
  • It works.

It took me about 1/2 an hour to get this working with my pure iptables setup. It does what it says and sends the knock sequence.

For some reason it has crashed on me setting up the sequences. It would be nice to be able to setup the tcp state flags but this may not be allowed by iTunes.
  • Gets the job done

i tested this with a tcp knock sequence and it worked fine.

the list seems to prefill with some defaults momentarily at startup, then empties or shows your host list, which looks a bit odd but it's no big deal.

i'd like to see a passcode lock added (like iSSH has) so others can't see your sequences. either that or a quick knock option where you enter the host & ports without needing to save a profile for it.

  • Works well for me

I was previously using PortKnock but it stopped functioning correctly after OS 4.2.1 was installed.
This ap is easier to use, you don't need to select cellular or wireless interface, it just works!
  • Brilliant!

Took 15 mins to setup. Would be nice to see this extended to work with other daemons
  • Curious about "KnockOnD"

Is this application something that can circumvent any Wi-Fi connections that may be locked by an administration, such as a high school? If so, how exactly does it work, and how do I use it to this advantage? If this does not work as I think it would, then could someone possibly show me what does that?
