A good index to Wikipedia entries
Uses the standard table of mychological characteristics in the Wikipedia entries to display entries based on observed characteristics you enter. Great idea!
Wikipedia....?
Wikipedia? Really? I bought this app for you to tell me in the first screen that this information was compiled off of Wikipedia? To me that is not worth my money. Thanks, but no thanks. I can use Wikipedia for FREE.
Garbage
Only lists 46 species of fungi...
Great app
I love it, would be nice to view pictures in a thumbnail form when searching but is so easy to use and informative
Excellent!!!
Great app, simple to use, good accurate content. A must for anyone interested in mycology or just Mushrooms in general. Has proved useful to me on many occasions. With more financial support this app could become an encyclopaedia of sorts... Imagine :)
Fungi
Nice portable app. Lots of interesting information. Be careful when picking mushrooms and always use more than one reference.
Bad App
This program is frozen on my IPhone. It will not open, it will not update it is an interference to the operation of my phone. I can not even remove it.
Fungi
A sound application and although I had some difficulty installing the application the level of support provided, even over the Christmas period, by Simon de Bernard was exceptional.
Hardly worth the price
I have done a little foraging before and thought an app to help would be good. Settled on this one, wish I'd spent more and got something better. It is just a standalone Wikipedia browser. No usefull information that couldn't be found looking at Wikipedia.
Additonal features would be cool
I realize this app is just a reference at this point, but it would be cool to use as place to record data. Wish there was a way to keep track of fungi I've identified in the field. Maybe have a "basket" where you could keep what you just "picked", and provide info like date and location. Or just having the option of selecting favorites, would be a nice addition.
