Leave a Review The Labyrinth of Time
So much missed potential
I bought this thinking it would be a true port to mobile devices. Swiping left and right to turn, holding your finger on something to pick it up and other touch interface features. But instead it's the same exact game with the interface that was designed to be used with a mouse. So this was a lazy low effort port. In the very least they could have given you the option to switch between a revamped interface and the traditional one. The price of $4 is way too steep when it's one dollar on GOG and other services. They also want you to buy the game a second time for an "iPad version". This isn't necessary since iPad will run the iPhone version just fine. That just shows you how long it's been since they've added any features to this game since it's been many years since you needed to buy a separate version for iPad devices. So buy this only if you don't mind using the ancient interface but honestly this could have been so much better.Show lessMy favorite!
This is my favorite adventure game besides Journeyman Project! Thank you so much! Don't pass this one up!Nostalgia for an old classic
I purchased this game the moment I saw it. A puzzle game of the same style (and era) as Myst, it never saw Myst's success and popularity; perhaps rightly so. Still, the game is a classic in its own right, and I'd recommend to any puzzle game fan. If you played it years ago... don't hesitate. The locales, the sounds (that clown!), the haunting soundtrack... it all evoked many memories. The game itself runs very smoothly on iPhone 4, identical to the original. This is a perfect port of a classic.Show less
