3.1

March 31, 2014

Sorry that this update has taken so long, but I wanted to make sure that the major feature was working as best it possibly could. So the major addition is the availability to access over 8600 fixtures that are constantly being updated. This premium library which can be found in the Lighting Library section under "Premium Library" is membership based. You can log into your LightShop account or create on in Lighting Handbook. (Please note the Premium library can only be accessed while connected to the internet, however you can save fixtures to your favourites to view them while offline) Also there have been major updates to the PDF reader so hopefully more manuals will now open without any issue. (if you do have an issue with a manual, please try and delete the manual from the saved manuals section and then try and redownload it - If the problem still persists please do let me know via the feedback section) The other update is the iOS 7 update, The app is now brought into line with a flat design. I will now be working to add more fixtures to the standard library and update that on a more regular basis - Sorry i don't have all new fixtures in the library (I'm just a one man operation) You can now specify your voltage and weight specification in the settings page and only see only the info that is relevant for yourself. Hope you enjoy it! If you do like Lighting Handbook please do leave a review in the App Store. It really does help!!

Reviews of Lighting Handbook

Leave a Review Lighting Handbook
  • Useful but outdated and buggy

Trying to switch between menus like from the manual back to the library the app crashes. Also some things are not current.
  • Such a scam

Be careful with the premium library right after you pay for it the app locks up and you don’t get anything and there is no customer service to help or even get your money back.
  • Great features, needs updating

Love the information and accessibility, just wishing for it to have more current info on products, as well as to update the catalogue of manuals so as to reflect current software versions.
