  • I love your app except for the annoying session time screen

Great app but one feature ruins the entire experience for me.
In under 30 secs of playing any taal, a black screen pops up displaying the session time and speed. This covers up the control panel and I cannot switch on or off any buttons on the go while I’m performing. Basically I have to tap twice, one to get out of the black session screen and second time to actually hit any buttons. I looked up if I could change this configuration but couldn’t find anything. Please let me know if I can somehow disable it.

  • Great app

Thankyou , recorder should be free.👍👍
  • Brilliant tool for practicing and beyond

I love this app, as someone with a long layman’s interest in Indian music it has opened up a whole world of possibilities and makes practising my guitar so much more enjoyable and has greatly tightened up my playing. I find it works just great for flamenco stylings too. The one improvement I would add would be a ‘fill’ button facility to add rhythmic flourishes here and there. Other than that it’s a fantastic tool that is excellent value for money.

  • Great app.

This is one of the greatest that I couldPossibly use for my Sitar performances solo. There are a huge number of styles and even a shuffle by the bols change adding a nice texture and some variety. Highly recommend it.
  • The definitive ICM app

This is an app used by almost all professional Indian classical music artist. That is a huge testament. It’ll never replace a real tanpura or tabla player, but it is a fantastic practice tool. Very easy to use while being very comprehensive.
  • Great app

I use this app for Kathak practice, and it’s super. It’s easy to adjust the laya, volume, etc, and it has a wide range of taals to choose from.

Two things I’d love to make this perfect: like other users have said, pakjawaj options, and an option for Raas, since we perform many compositions to that taal. Jai taal is an ok substitute but the bols are different.

Otherwise, it’s great. My husband plays dilruba and he can use the app for that, too.

  • Good experience and need help

    I love the app!
Need one help - the tabla used to stop earlier only when the taal cycle’s last beat finished. Now it stops immediately when I tap Stop. Is there a way to mange that?
  • Keeps discharging my battery in iPad pro

I am using this app on my iPad Pro. Usually my iPad discharges in 3-4 days. However, If i use this app for practicing and then turn off the master, the app still keeps running in the background and discharges my entire battery in single day. By the way, This is different from the background play option available in the settings. I am frustrated that whenever i want to use the iPad, this app drains my battery because I failed to close the app completely (i mean by swiping up the last used apps). Please fix this. This same issue doesn’t occur in iPhone though.

It automatically turns off the sound engine if you exit the app and the app is not playing any sound. Please also make sure you’re on the latest iOS version. You might want to also look at the battery settings to see what is using battery.
  • Perfectly accessible with VoiceOver

The first ever indian music app that I can use without trouble because I'm blind, very good and clean interface. Almost all the buttons are correctly labeled. The tuning scrollbar is well done, same thing for tanpura setting. However not a lot of tabla taal, but well done for the raag collection! It is the only one app for indian music I can really and fully independently use with needing any kind of assistance. Same thing for the light version op the app. Good job!
