  • Convenient, searchable, easy to use ...

... and outstanding customer support! I never want to go back to paper copies.
  • App Support is Great

I complained about pricing and the developers contacted me immediately to discuss my concerns. Overall, I felt the pricing was fair and my particular circumstances (of being a poor law student) were were very well considered. The updates are current and I feel confident in keeping up to date with my subscriptions. This app is way easier to navigate than other online (ad based) free services and the customer support has been top notch. I would highly recommend this app.

  • Handy On-The-Go Reference App

Love this app for quick reference to federal statutes! Keeping my fingers crossed that they add accessibility to my state’s statutes soon (Tennessee!) because that would make this my go to app daily!
  • Excellent app and support

I have been a user of LawStack for better then 6 years! The app has kept me updated on the regulations I regularly refer to.

Recently I reported a bug with the share button and within a week it was fixed. They kept me updated throughout the process!

  • Informative and consolidated

For a 1L or even a licensed attorney, there is a plethora and wealth of information in here.
  • UPDATE

I’ve installed the latest update of LawStack. I fired up the app, and it now works! Great job devs!

The issue I had before was one in which the app would hang on initialization. Not anymore. 😃

  • Updated: App subscription is misleading

Update: I have been contacted by the developers. What I thought was misleading turns out to have been a bug. They were very quick to contact me and remedy the situation. I appreciate their assistance and courtesy!

Original post: The app works well but only if you maintain your subscription. Unlike buying a physical copy of your state’s laws, which contain exactly the same material, once your subscription expires you can’t view anything; including old versions. Even though the expiration notice that pops up gives you a link to view old versions, if you click on the old versions that were included in your paid subscription, it simply pops up the same notice saying your subscription is expired.

Hi Jacob, I'm so sorry that you are having this issue. You should be able to access the free version whether you have a subscription or not. We might uncovered a bug in the old versions and we will fix this as soon as possible. Would you mind sending me an email to support@lawstack.com? I would love to speak with you so I can help you better.
  • Misleading Subscriptions

DO NOT PURCHASE!!! You pay for a year of statues via a subscription, but if your subscription expires you cannot view the information that you have already paid for. As soon as you try to view the information you have previously paid for there’s a pop-up stating that you can renew your subscription or view previous “free” info. It’s a continuous cycle where you never get to view the “free” information. Funny how they do this to a large amount of attorneys. Do they think we won’t sue? The previous apps through them were much better. Guess it’s time to look into UFDTPA.

Hi Spydrdrvr, I'm so sorry that you are having this issue. You should be able to access the old version whether you have a subscription or not. As most of our users do not have a subscription. We are taking a look into this and we will fix this as soon as possible. Would you mind sending me an email? I'm one of the developers and would love to speak with you so I can help you.
