Better than any maps

Having this tokyo travel guide app is better than having paper maps. This can be a perfect partner when travelling to this beautiful place - Tokyo. You've got to try this out and see if this is what you need to make tour travel fun and smooth.

Great app!

Tokyo travel guide is a great tool for studying or traveling around Tokyo. I love the offline maps and how if you don't have a wifi or cell connection you are still able to access maps. It certainly helps having a great interface to use and the graphics on the maps are great.

Problems

This app comes with "in app" purchase requirements.
I paid 2.99 for the main Tokyo map and info.
After downloading, the Map for Tokyo is blank. Seems it didn't download correctly.
I decided delete the app and start over since I've already paid for the Tokyo map.
Now when I get to the part of re downloading the Tokyo map,
It's asking for me to confirm a 2.99 purchase of the Tokyo map again.
Shouldn't this remember your purchase? Would rather not pay 2.99 again for something I've already paid for, especially if it might not load into the app correctly.

Not free at all

If you advertise your app as FREE 100% full access, then don't hide 90% of the content behind in app purchases. This is downright misleading and fraudulent.

Crashes and slow

Interface looked good but content is a bit lacking.

Photo gallery loads slowly. It should instead load the page and then load a few images at a time.

Crashes often as well.

Will give better rating if it gets better.

Feature cramped but some more content in a few areas would be nice.

Promises much delivers little

Disappointing really ! Good concept ! But does not connect map with recommended locations !

This application does not deliver on the basics

I paid for this app because it had a maps section. However, it does not cover the Tokyo Metro system (the main map I needed). In addition, the maps provided are user-unfriendly (the zoom in/out functions are poor) and detail provided is very low. You could not walk around Tokyo using this. The Language section is useless since, even if you could use the few phrases they give you, you would not begin to understand the answer. The few entries in the Eating section are an insult to the depth and diversity of food available in Tokyo... I could go on. Perhaps the 1-day, 2-day etc guides would be useful to a first-time visitor but again the information given is pretty sad. I am off to search for a way to get a refund...
