Sound Issue
I would have rated it better because it is very simple to set up, but it has a couple of flaws. First of all, it is EXTREMELY difficult to figure out how to close the app on an iPhone or iPad. No instruction. I kept having to shut my phone down till I figured how to swipe up from the very bottom. But the main thing is the sound. Even with the volume cranked up all the way on both devices, you can barely hear the alarm to announce blind raises. That needs to be fixed or I’ll find another app.Show lessBizdsigner

Hello, Thanks for the review. Since Apple has pinned this to the top, I wanted to make sure to reply to point out that hopefully Version 3.0 will solve any sound issues that might have been happening on a few devices. We did switch over the sounds to a different sound library behind the scenes. I don't even know what to say about the closing of the app, that is an OS wide thing for all apps. Was it that you didn't understand on a new phone because of the landscape as there is nothing with our app that makes it not close regularly, Apple wouldnt allow that? We hope you give it another try, and thanks again...NO SOUND

I'm not sure what would have been causing this but version 3.0 now has a new sound library that hopefully helps with the few people who had problems with sound. Clearly this is not a regular thing. You did not have the phone switched to silent mode, right?Sound don’t work, only cost me $4.99

You cannot close it once opened. It needs iPhones with a button to kill it. I’m deleting after 3 years..Jamesshaw

The iOS and Apple controlled how apps close, obviously a swipe up from the bottom. I'm not sure if originally Apple had a bug on some of these new phones that the swipe didn't work on Landcape only devices, but I can assure other users, you can close the app just like any other app. Apple would not approve them if you couldn't. Hopefully you give version 3.0 a try....Miss set time 1 for all
Great app! Nice to look. Easy to use. But, the only things its about setting. We have to set one by one the blinds and time for each blind. When the blinds are set, ok we can use it for the rest of your life, but depend the game play, we have to change the time, and its very long. If you fix that, this App will worth 5 stars.Show lessHhdka

It was explained in the tutorial in the app, but in Version 3.0 it has now been made even easier. You simply click on the .wav file you want to use from either mail or files and in share choose PokerTimer, and it will create it for you. You can then see it is installed and remove it in the Settings screen(swipe left to expose 'delete'). ThanksEverything you need

This is a decent ap. I purchased the pro version that does not add much. The reason for the low review is that this does not display the next blinds level. Knowing what the upcoming blinds levels are is very important to Hold'em players. I would upgrade this if that functionality were added. I upgraded specifically looking for that.Show lessPaul448800

Downloaded this app last night. Set up a detailed blind structure really simply and it worked perfectly for the game. No need to ever download another app or pay for an upgrade. PerfectJayydogg149
