In the last couple of weeks this game has become a weak point for malicious software attacks. My security app has intercepted at least one attack per round. Additionally, it takes multiple clicks to clear ads. This was not evident when I downloaded this game in the beginning. Then it became an annoyance. However, at some point that disappeared. Perhaps another user pointed it out - or maybe multiple users. 3-5 clicks per ad add up. Now it has come back and your aim better be precise as the target for dismissing the ad seems to be quite small.

Unsatisfying Gameplay Options
I’m changing my previous 5-star review to a 2-star review. Why? Because I contacted the developers about two issues, and they assured me that they were “rebuilding” the app and would consider addressing the feedback that I had provided. Well, nearly 12-months later, neither issues have been addressed and there is apparent re-build.
So what are the two issues?
1. Don’t force people who pay for an advert-free experience to play with those people who have chosen not to go advert-free. People who choose an advert-free subscription want a faster game experience, and don’t want to be held back by other players who are waiting for their adverts to be served. It is unfair to those paying for an advert-free experience.
2. Provide the option to choose who your playing partner will be. Some of us actually want to play online with our friends as “partners” to challenge against other players, instead of always getting a random draw of players who frankly have no idea how to play the game well.
Addressing these two issues will greatly enhance the gaming experience of all players.
So developers, please stop saying that you make the changes and actually make the changes. Otherwise it’s just empty words, and what is in fact a very good app will never reach its true potential to become an outstanding gaming experience for those who choose this app user interface over your competitors.

Good game but…
Great game but randomly closes during online games for some reason???

Internet Connection is too Unstable
I love this game but the crashes and freezing are becoming way too frequent. It’s usually when halfway through a game and winning and then it freezes and I get a stat that I’ve lost the game. Mostly it happens after a long ad particularly one called Royal Kingdom. It’s very frustrating. It also recently crashed completely. When I tried to go online it wouldn’t connect at all with a message saying “the connection to the server failed”. It came back after a couple of days, but it’s very unsatisfactory. Such a shame with a good game. Due to this I can only give it two stars.

We're sorry to hear that you've been having problems with Canasta. Our developers have detected a game server outage and have been working hard over the last few days to resolve the issue. At the moment it looks like the issue has been resolved and the game server is back up.
Frustrating
I enjoy this game but the ads are making me consider deleting. One comment said airplane mode would prevent ads but that isn’t working for me…too bad. I’d pay a fee to prevent ads, not enjoyable.
Canasta. Table freeze is aggravating.
I enjoy the game when it works. I am currently playing the free version. I like playing online against others. Sadly, much too often the screen goes back to the card table after the ads between hands, but I cannot see any cards for my hand and cannot play. If I stay with the game, I can see my time run out and others “light up” for their turn a few time. Eventually the game just tells me that I have forfeited since I am not connected to the game. Very aggravating for me and probably for those that I am playing with.

Find that it doesn’t start it will just close when opened for abit.

Best canasta platform out there
The online platform has been down several days, (I assume to fix the glitches). I’ve checked out all of the other canasta platforms on the App Store and I’ve come to appreciate Lite Games tremendously. It is definitely the BEST and easiest to play canasta game to be found. With the ability to choose the speed of play, to the ease to get into games- it can’t be beat. In the offline 4 player game you’re partnered with a bot (CPU_2) that plays like a moron. It explains why there are so many online players who seem to not understand math. Why would one throw away all of the high cards to the opponent and pick up 5’s with a wild? Its what CPU_2 does! Hopefully the bot play will become a stronger player with this new system.

No connection
I have been trying to connect to this game now for a full day.
I keep getting a response , “ unable to connect to server “ please explain. I have checked and re checked my Wi- Fi connection. I have deleted the game and reinstalled, I have shut down my I Pad and restarted it , but to no avail.
