GPS Too Slow
This would be a useful app if the correct yardage would show up BEFORE I hit my shot. I tried the app for two rounds on the same golf course and found it very frustrating. I would say that well over half of the time, I had to hit my shot before the correct yardage appeared. Sometimes is shows no yardage at all while it is connecting and sometimes it shows the wrong yardage. Either way, you're out of luck. Sometimes even after it seemed to have settled on a yardage, it would change as much as 7 yards while staying in the same position. As far as I'm concerned, as a golf GPS, this app has no value to me. Maybe it's the GPS signal on my iPhone 3GS or maybe it's the app - who knows.
The only reason I gave this app 2 stars is because it's well designed and very easy to use. It would be nice if it auto advanced to the next hole, but still easy enough to do it manually.
One more thing to keep in mind, is that your phone automatically turns off after a few seconds, which means that you have to turn the phone back on every time you want a yardage. Handheld devices stay on all the time and in experience, settle on a yardage much quicker.Show lessCaddyX

Superb Design...Great Functionality...
By far the best design I have seen on a mobile Golf GPS application. Very intuitive and easy to use. Accurate distances to the front, center and back of the greens. If I could only figure out how to hit my irons this iGolf app would seriously improve my handicap.LongPutts
