  • Great Administrative App

    A lot of people are complaining about WHMCS charging $40 for the mobile service, but it's plainly listed on their website... no surprises if you are a current WHMCS user and you ever visit their site. The app in the app store is simply an iPhone compatible interface to a complete WHMCS mobile system.

    Now, onto the actual review. There are some good things and bad. On the good side, the features that are there work well. I can view and approve orders, look up client info. The bad thing is a lot of the functionality of client management just isn't there yet, and it needs to be.

    Lastly, I hope that WHMCS will develop an app for client-side users as well. As a web host, I would like to be able to offer my customers a mobile interface to manage their accounts.

  • This is truly an unethical business practice

    like everyone else on here wrote, the app is free but you have to pay $40 to use it. If it cost money to use the app then just write it blatantly. If your app is any good/useful, people will not mind paying. But DON'T DECEIVE your users into thinking it's a free app then have them find out themselves that they have to pay!! That is just wrong! This app should be free to your existing users as it is just an extension of your system.

  • Garbage!!!

    It's listed as a free app but surprise, surprise.. It's free to download but if u want to use it, you need to pay $40.

    Now, why on earth would anyone pay $40, when all I really need to do is log into my account directly using safari??

    I am not paying twice for the same service, just a different portal.

  • Great business-level app

    This application allows you to access your WHMCS installation and manage your webhosting business on the go from an interface in keeping with the rest of iOS. It's invaluable for my business.

    This is an enterprise-level app and a licence is required from WHMCS to use it, so there is some cost but it's pocket-money for any business. The cost is justified instantly by all my staff being able to reply to support tickets and manage orders from outside the office.

    The only disadvantage is that it's limited to the options in the description and doesn't have the full functionality of the web-based WHMCS admin area.

  • Works pretty good

    I have had a few minor issues at first setting this app up, but after submitting a support ticket and getting their help, all works good.

    I would like to see an enhancement that would show new tickets without having to open the app first.
  • Potential maybe

    Can't even close a open ticket with this thing. Features were not thought out well at all. Sad thing is I had to pay for this app before it was free.

    The application works pretty good. It allows me to perform somebasic functions, which is ideal when I am on the road. I would appreciate further development on the support features.

  • Overpriced but it's a good start

    This application definentely needs some work. It seems like it is incomplete and it does crash from time to time. I definentely cannot justify the price paid but I can say that it has potential. It simply has a way to go to be worth even half the current pricetag.
  • Crashing

    Constantly crashes. Also unable to write save to any tickets. Needs lots of work still. Many important features are not there like closing a ticket for example. You can only delete.
