I didn't’ give you access to my contacts so...... ? I like to input my own stuff but all I’m seeing is a blank screen. It looked like a good app but I didn’t realize it would buy me an empty screen.

Hello, sorry missed this review - Birthdays requires you to grant access to your Contacts, it will automatically look and show birthdays for all your contacts that have birthdays. I don't do anything with the contact data except build up the list of birthdays. Your data never leaves your device.Fantastic!

A nearly perfect app that takes the birth dates you've already entered for your contacts and tells you how old they're turning, and when. That's it. Very happy.
In a future version, it would be great to be able to add a birthday to an existing contact from inside the app. Bonus points if it can help me work out their birth year if, for example, I know their 34th birthday is tomorrow. I'd also like to see birthdays that have happened in the past month at the top and not the bottom.
Despite this, it's already a five star app because it does the important bit perfectly.Show lessSimonWright

This is a great little app for helping me remember birthdays of my friends. I like the notifications that pop up to remind me about them. Well worth the two bucks.Ndupont
Great little app
This is a great app - it's one of the few (if not only) that notifies you sufficiently in advance to go out and buy a card to post, and then again on the day if you just want to send a text, or give the person a call.
It also has a useful reference guide when you go into the app showing you all upcoming birthdays, including ones in the past couple of weeks in case you've managed to miss one!

Clean, Simple and Exactly What I Need
I was looking for an application that I could quickly refer to when I pass a card shop and have a feeling that someone I know has a birthday coming up and this is it. If you don't want the clutter of social networking site links and want a clean, standard user interface that makes it incredibly easy to see at a glance who you have to buy a card for then for less than the price of a greetings card you really can't go wrong with this.Show lesssimon_w
