Have you ever felt like your partner just isn't there for you? Like they should have your back in good times and bad? We're talking pitch here, folks.
Your partner needed a little therapy and I'm happy to say that they have turned over a new leaf. They will now do some of the simple things that mean a lot- like throwing low on your Ace. Or giving you that key point when needed. In this release, your partner will feel more like a "partner" and not your opponent.
There are also some other small refinements and visual improvements in lots of places in the app.
Enjoy!

The "back" is back. Some of you missed the "back" button on the score and cards won screens, so I put it back. For all of the swipers out there... a right swipe will still work.
I also fixed the "white-washed" score and cards won screens in the "Hip" theme. Now, you should be able to see your scores a whole lot better!
From the prior release: Fixes for multiplayer games with 3 or 4 players connecting via Game Center

Description of iPitch
The classic game of “Pitch”, also known as “Setback” brought to the iPhone and iPad. Pitch is a strategy based trick-taking card game where each player attempts to get to the winning score (typically 7, 11 or 21) by winning points. Each player “bids” on the number of points they think they could win (either 2, 3 or 4). The winning bidder then chooses the trump suit for the round. The available points that may be won for a round are High, Low, Jack of trump and Game.
Key features of “iPitch”:
- Simple, intuitive gameplay
- Multiplayer using Game Center or locally over Bluetooth / WiFi
- Play either cutthroat or in partners against the computer or other players online
- Three different computer skill levels to play against
- Personalize the computer players by choosing pictures from your picture library
- Adjustable game play speed
- Arrange the cards in your hand
- Adjustable game play options such as: low point to owner or capturer; dealer can take the bid; smudge bid is enabled; you must win by two; and you must bid to win

Been playing this for so many years. Always the most fun pitch app even if the computer makes crazy bids. I started playing this when I would get together a lot with friends to play Pitch and we’d all laugh about antics on the app since we all played it. Awesome memories and thanks to the dev who was truly one of the OG’s for making card games that weren’t covered with ad screens. People who have been around since the start of the App Store remember how good we used to have it.
Deuce
When the rule options are for the deuce to go to the person who played it, the computer players still hold it like they have to save it. I just had one of them give up a ten of trump, then when trump was led back, they played the deuce. Dumb. Very very dumb. I can be much better b
Used to be the best Pitch hame out there.. what happened?
The new update killed this game. I loved the landscape view… gone. The color scheme and graphics are a step down and the score view used to be clean and simple. The gameplay seems to be relatively the same so why would you down grade the look of it? It so cheesy now.. makes me sad. On the hunt for an app that looks and plays like the original.
