It's "okay"
A previous reviewer is right about the colors - they're pretty bad. Some of the quotes are good - some I skip over. These are quotes on success, leadership, wisdom, happiness, etc. Since I wrote quotes in graduation cards, many of these are familiar to me. However, most of these quotes are one or two lines long. Some of my absolute favorites quotes are longer than two lines, so they're not in here. I think this app will be good for many people, but personally, I will probably just google quotes in the specific category that applies to me at the time.Show lessBewareofMommabear

Two Stars
Very good variety of inspirational and motivational quotes. And I like the colorful backgrounds! Very cheerful! My two complaints, however, are that there isn't a favorites key; also, the app info states you can paste a quote to Facebook or Twitter by clicking the keyboard, which is untrue. There isn't an option to copy and paste except in a text or email. Fix those and I'd rate this app a five!Show lessAngelia4bell
Change the display name, PLEASE!
Love the app, should get 5 stars, but... Please do something about the springboard display text, "Self Help!" Option to hide it? Abbreviate it? Change it? Something, anything, I beg! I HATE the comments and questions, not to mention having to explain what and/or why I have an app called "Self Help" to EVERYONE who sees my phone. Totally annoying and borderline embarrassing, especially when its a client! (yes, I'm aware that if this is my biggest complaint in life I'm doing pretty good :)
All and all though, I do find it to be very inspirational, especially if you are in the need a quick pick me up. Not crazy about all the ads, I'd for sure pay to uprage to a no-ad version if the option was available.Show lessReviewbyme
High time upgrade needed now
I really like this app but there are some errors in it like.
1. All the time we start from only read quoted and all same quotes keep coming.
2. No favorite option
3. No option to email and copy etc.
If you can add these options then it will certainly rock. I really appreciate your collections of quotes though.Show lessArvinspencer
BE WARNED! Innappropriate for some!
Be warned this app is inappropriate for some. My son was able to download this with the restriction of 12 and under only apps allowed. We enjoyed the quotes. They are really great. We don't like that the app designer sells advertising to girly websites and games, violent gun games and drinking games to name a few. Apps that would not be available UNLESS they hit the ad buttons. They do go through! I hope the law catches up with technology one day. I know if my son bought a book at the store claiming to have self help quotes appropriate for all ages, and he found this junk inside, someone would have to answer to it and it would make headlines. Good advices when you are feeling down
This app is great. It gives you advices when you feel lost or down. The color and font is easy to read too.
However, I've read through a number of them and the focus is mainly on how to be successful. It offers great insight but I wish it has more quotes on other aspects of life such as happiness, how to be content with yourself and your life, how to deal with changes, how to see things positively.... Inspirational. Some quotes I had heard before but didn't remember who said it. Several I have posted on my Facebook and Myspace. If you are this type of person, it does make you think and realize; especially when you are having a down day.akmcmm
