Good App.
I live in Queensland, and it may just be because my family comes from the country but most of these Aussie slang terms I use on a regular basis (it's amazing how many I use in everyday conversation without actually realising it! No wonder half my customers at work have no clue what I'm talking about!) There are some slang terms, that to me don't seem like slang terms due to the fact that it is so commonly used in Australian society for example the word 'ute', but I understand a person visiting Australia for the first time would not understand what a 'ute' is and so this app is extremely useful for people coming to visit Austalia from overseas. But I still think it's a good app even for Aussies!

Bored
Almost lost the will to live scrolling through these. Would be much better in some kind of list rather than having to scroll through each one individually.
Apart from that quite a few of them were recognisable Aussie!

I think some of the reviewers may be missing the point a little here....
Personally, there are only about two or three terms that I've not heard or seen written somewhere before (but I may be a tad older than the usual iPhone user), and I wouldn't say that the terms I've not seen before don't exist or have been invented for the app.
However, the whole point of the app is to introduce people to, or re-acquaint people with, slang terms that have been used in the general vernacular at some time or another. It's just a bit of fun. If it was meant to be taken seriously it would be the 'Funk and Wagnell's Concise Slang Thesaurus" and it would be quite 'exy'..
It could be added to though to provide more humourous terms like "m-n-x semich", or "eggnisher".... (but again, terms I fear most reviewers would never have heard before...)

Crap!
This is rubbish! I am from Australia and we hardly ever use any of that language! Complete crap! We use like two out of all of them!! Terrible!
Laura
Hardly ozzie talk, we use most of these everyday in the UK. Total poop!
Pretty darnn good but could be better
Some of the other reviewers must speak the Queen's English or something. This has a fairly comprehensive amount of Aussie slang, many of the words I've heard before as a south Aussie. The interface is beaut, the biggest problem is that some slang definitions are slightly wrong or misguided or not general enough. There are some obscurities too, and one (lift) doesn't even look like aussie slang. But with another guide, this is a great aid for those wishing to speak the local lingo. Possible improvements: add a rating system to show how much a word is actually used, give usage notes and alternate definitions. Cheers!
