This game has been with me through thick and thin. Downloaded it in my senior year of high school 8 years ago. Went that whole year playing Action Potato in every class, at every lunch break, and in the late hours of each night, laying on my raggedy old mattress in mom’s old apartment. When I graduated high school and moved across the country for university, away from everything and everyone I knew, I could waive the stress away with the thought that Action Potato was nestled right in my pocket. On the morning of my wedding, as I sat in a sweat, worriedly anticipating every possible thing that could go wrong, I was instantly grounded with the realization that Action Potato was just a reach-in-the-pocket away. When the newborn was crying in the crib keeping me from sleep during the early morning hours, Action Potato was there to lull me into a dream. When the wife had her diagnosis the following year, Action Potato was there to comfort us. And when she passed after a well fought war with breast cancer, I still had the one and only friend who could feel and help me with the pain; Action Potato. 6 generations of iPhone and here I am, finally leaving this long, overdue review on something that impacted my life for better or worse.
The bread to my butter, the needle to my thread, the lasagna to my Garfield...
Action. Potato.
