One More Great TMOS Feature
In addition to their ever-growing Web site, t-shirt campaign and spirited Super Bowl parties, The Mike O'Meara Show has now begun its assult on the iPhone. And thank goodness. If you're like me and you can't seem to get the podcast downloaded through iTunes because you're on the road and don't have a wi-fi connection (this is what my iPhone tells me every time I try to grab the new episode when I'm not at a central location), or because trying to listen to it in Safari is a hassle when you get a phone call or an email because it has to restart, then this iPhone app is a godsend. Now I can listen to the show in my car, hassle-free, and I can also take a look at some great photos of the Living Room Studio, or Oscar giving the thumbs-up from the laps of Mike, Robb, and Buzz. Not in the car, though. That's for later. Oh! And there's also the soundboard, which is great for calling your friends and giving them a little Internet Radio Tommy or Girlfriend. What's not to love?!
The Mike O'Meara Show continues to move forward with fantastic ideas and a determination that is unparalleled. This iPhone app is just one of the many great things to come, and it sure is a great way to kick things off. Do get it. NOW.

Delicious
Witty but, not dry; charming but, never sappy; passionate but, never ranting or cruel; sophomoric yet, endearing. This is what comes to mind when I try to explain this daily podcast to others. This show is just hard to fully describe (like a flavor). At it's core it's a comedy show but it's one where you get to know the players rather intimately whilst soaking up their quick, intelligent banter. They are not only funny but, fun (kind of salty and sweet). A group of guys you would really look forward to having over for a BBQ. That's pretty rare in media these days.
So, here's to the Mike O'Meara show! May it live long and prosper! And, yes, the donation is in the mail.

The First Podcast I've ever supported
For anyoen getting started with podcasts, subscribe to this one first. I know the guys call this a comedy, but what they do is so much more. Well worth subscribing to. If you listen to satelite radio, youre payign a lot more for much less. Its a free Podcast, but I woudl pay 1.99 per day if I had to.
Please give the show a listen. It wont disappoint. When Mike dies, Washington DC will get a new monument. It is to be called "The Eternal Taint". Rob needs corrective shoes, and we need to do our best to keep Oscar from beign deported. A group of funny, smart and very likable guys.

When an hour a day just won't do...
This is a terrific app for fans of the Mike O'Meara Show, and who isn't a fan of the Mike O'Meara Show? "Those who knew him, loved him. Those who did not know him, loved him from afar." The soundboard alone is worth the price of admission (Hello, FREE. Mike is such a giver.), but it's filled with more great content like photos from the famous Living Room Studio and video of the breakfast meats show. And with easy access to new episodes on the go, this is a must have app. If you see an iPhone without this app loaded, pull yours out, play the "ASSHAT" drop, and point their browser here. Thanks for more love and free content, gang! The show is still the best ever.
