  • Quality parts in stock

    The app is pretty handy when making a parts list for a project. Would be extremely useful if DigiKey could add a parts cross reference/substitution feature. Always wind up having to buy obsolete parts from Chinese suppliers with questionable quality.

    So nice to whip out my iPhone, open app and search for my parts. No more post it notes on notepads getting lost or forgotten where. Shipping is reasonable and so are prices for what these items are. Can’t run down to Walmart and pick this stuff up ya know.

  • Terrible app. Can’t sign in with prior info.

    The app won’t let me sign in. I already had a account and customer number from Digi-Key. It repeatedly tells me wrong password when I can sign in with NO issues on the website. I hope they make this better because Digi-Key is my favorite parts store and the app is completely unusable.
  • This business gone in the gutter

    Mouser clearly has the upper hand these days. Received wrong parts and a module with transistors ripped off is just....unacceptable. Especially on time sensitive projects.

    This app looks good and works fine but need to wait couple of seconds every time I tap on something. Also signs me out every once in a while.

  • Used to be Great. Now Buggy and Awkward

    This used to be a great app. Now it has been dumbed down to the point where it is painful for anybody whose primary purpose is to research and buy components. It also gives spurious error messages. With every update it keeps getting worse.

    It has significantly reduced the amount I buy from Digikey. My time is sufficiently valuable that I buy from whoever causes me the least pain. This shouldn’t be a race to the bottom.

  • Does the job

    This app isn’t perfect but it’s worked well enough. There have been a few instances where items haven’t loaded their add to cart / quantity sections. Additionally searching for items is a bit clumsy and many categories are lost in misleading drop-down menus. That being said, DigiKey has never had the most stellar user experience design. So, I’m overall happy with the app.

  • Changes

    Just make it easier to remove items in a cart instead of making a new cart to select a certain item to purchase.
  • Poor filter

    Cannot add to existing filter. Must start again from scratch every time. Frustrating.
