开放导入单词本API
太多没用的花里胡哨的东西了，硬件也一样。真有用的东西反而做的很差。至少开放个导入生词本的 API 啊，争取把别家词典用户给拉拢过来啊……Angdi Chu
New feature request
I have a VIP annual account but I found a feature is missing for this good App. Please add a feature to only provide English explanations for vocabulary notebook study. There is only Chinese explanation when I study on my personal vocabulary notebook, however english explanation would provide better understanding and experience to a new vocabulary. Same applies to dictionary, could we have a feature to turn off Chinese explanation in dictionary? It helps to reduce the translation in head from Chinese to English, but to learn English using English logics. It would be a dramatic learning experience improvement if the new feature is provided!Show lessviciii8858
Hope it had a better UI design!
I have been using it for years and recently almost got tired of this since I can hardly find anything useful. But after comparing it with Eudic I have to admit that Youdao has a more accurate translation.
Pleaaaase make your UI design cleaner and more user friendly!!! I’m buried with all the ads and can’t find the really useful features!!!Show less为什么昵称这么难起

查的词必然是我需要查并且不认识的词 我为什么需要你反向提醒我这个不要盲目记忆哦？！这是什么pua/gaslighting吗？不要学的太复杂哦？否则怎么样啊？你管我怎么学干嘛？管好自己好吧！
It is quite annoying to click and cancel the reminder:” teacher XX: don’t get hasty to memorise too complicated words!”
This reminds us both obnoxious and condescending: it assumes all the English learners’s vocabulary must be at a beginner/intermediate level. Hence it is too far-fetched to learn anything that is intricate. The reminder reeks narrowmindedness.
The points all come to: It is NONE of your business to suggest how ppl should or should not learn.
I like a lot of features of this app. Wish it can improve this made soon enough before I give upShow lessmichelle。 。

disgusting app filled with annoying ads and Chinese communist propaganda
DO NOT install their app! It’s one of the worst translators that is both inconsistent and outdated. It is filled with hundreds of different ads and commercials videos which distract users a lot. The homepage is very messy and annoying. In addition, this app is definitely Communist’s propaganda to “western world”, it spreads false and completely fake news/articles and even made them showcase as “daily learning” or sth similar on their homepage for people to learn!! Way better than Google translator for Chinese
I was quite unhappy with Google translator for it only shows 1-2 translations in Chinese and something they are not accurate. My parents always use Youdao apps and they are happy about it. Finally I decided to give it a try and immediately I loved it. Will recommend it to other friends.Bibi20111218
New version is too distracting
I’ve been using this tool for years and always been my number one recommendation to others. However in the new release they added a lot of socializing features which are very distracting and annoying. Loading takes longer too.user feedback 2022
