  • Incorrect algorithm?

I like all the tools, but I think the algorithm for the formula weight calculator conversions (1g to mmol and 1mmol to g) is off by factor of 10? The molarity and dilution calculators are correct.
  • Great idea!

This is a great idea to put in information of seeding densities and cells at confluency...but it would be great if it will include other cells that is commonly used in tissue culture labs...like DT-40....NIH3T3 cells...etc
  • Useful Molarity Calculator

Great, useful app. Wish I could change the units in the molarity calculator to grams etc. Thanks.
  • Cell culture tool

Useless if u work with cells other than HeLa
  • Very handy app for calculating solutions.

I find this app very useful, it's great for calculating molarity. I look forward to more features being added.
  • A great app for lab workers

This app is great and has a lot of useful information. but using it a couple of improvements could be made.
    1) When entering numbers, the default keyboard is alphabetical and not numerical. If this could be changed it would make the app better
    2) for molar caluculations, you have the option to change the units for molar solution and final volume, but the required mass is fixed in milligrams. I feel this would be better if you were able to change the units possibly allowing the figure to refresh on unit change without having to do the calculation again.
    3) maybe an option to allow changing between scientific number notation and standard formats although I appreciate for some calculations, certainly under the molarity conversion, this would be impractical.

These are just minor issues though and should not stop anyone who works in a lab who does these calculations on a regular basis from downloading and using it. It has made lab calculations much easier.

  • Dr

Excellent tool and quick easy reference. Thank you.
  • Good tool for lab work.

Working in a lab most of this semester and it looks like this tool is the best yet.
