Poorly utilized
The instruments don't respond well.
The kazoo and harmonica don't use the iPhone speaker. Other instrument apps do it so the possibility is out there. What good is it if people can't hear the instrument?!

The kazoo and jug (there is no harmonica instrument) don't use the built-in speaker because this would create a feedback loop with the microphone. You can listen to these instruments privately with the earpiece (place the phone to your head) or plug in to an external speaker.
Jug band app
what a blast! we had a guitar, harmonica, and six people using the jug band and washboard app. We played fishing blues in front of a hundred people and got a standing ovation. Both apps are amazing replication of the real thing. Fifteen on a scale of 1-10!
