KLBJ Live Stream App
I love listening to KLBJ's local hosts, especially Jeff, Todd & Don, and Ed. The iPhone app is nifty for when I'm hand-watering my yard/working outside. It's not a reliable stream, though, so I have to hit the Play button repeatedly; more often than I'd like. Otherwise, I am a huge fan! Keep the local programming coming - like extended airtime for T&D!

Makes my iPhone BLAZING HOT
I have several streaming radio apps. This is the only one that makes my phone BLAZING HOT. Not good. I like playing this station app overnight with my phone is plugged in, but afraid it's going to cause a fire! Also, the phone will never fully charge while the app is running. I guess it takes a major toll on the CPU. Why is this?

KLBJ is an absolute pleasure!
I've been listening to AM talk radio ever since I was a little girl back in CA with my Dad. I've listened to countless news radio station and when my husband and I moved to Austin a couple yrs ago I found my favorite. Rush is a standard that you can get just about anywhere what sets them apart is the quality of their programming. I'm grateful that when we moves to Houston (would have rather state in Austin if we could) in January I was happy to learn they had an app that allows me to keep listening to my favorite shows,( love the gardening Sunday morning especially) anywhere I have wifi or cellular service.

Austin Radio Listener
Love being able to hear the radio programs on my iPhone. Sound quality is good and so far, no significant problems. Would love to see an interactive feature added where we could send in our comments via an in-app text message.
Use it all the time!
Especially great when I travel. We were in Okla. when fires broke out Labor Day weekend. We were able to listen Sun. night up until 2 am or so as we rushed back home. Thank you KLBJ!
Has improved, could use more
I like and have used the app over a yr and it has improved. When I transition from a wi-fi zone, I would think the app would simply switch to use my 3G, but this doesn't happen for me. This feature would make my listening more seamless throughout my day.
Keep it up
I try to listen to the morning show every day possible. Being away from home it helps me feel not so far away. Please improve the streaming, it locks up or drops signal way too much.
Feeds the addiction!
I carry my iPhone around in my pocket so I can stream it nonstop. Works great! Todd and Don are so funny it's hard to concentrate on work. Morning show is my favorite (Sam rocks) and Jeff is growing on me. Commercials with the streaming are a little weird and repetitive though. I'm tired of the autism one especially.

It is a start.
The application does do the main thing, streaming the live program, well enough. However, it could and should do so much more...especially on the iPad. Ideas are to include social networking and interaction, live chatting/tweeting inside the app to interact with the hosts, perhaps voice with the hosts, maps showing local story locations, interactive polls, coupons, sponsor list and links to their information, ... I could go on.
If radio is going to make it, they should start getting innovative as they did in the early days of the medium.

Hiccups, but great.
Perfectly functional except for when it just stops streaming sometimes. Can't just be the network or my wireless cause it seems to happen in many different locations using a lot of different signals. So I have to close the app and restart. More annoying than anything else, not a serious issue. I get my news radio wherever I am!
