This is a highly recommended, very fun game
I don't really play many games on my iPod Touch and this is the first one I've ever bought. That said, I am thoroughly satisfied with my $1.99 purchase of Stinger Table Hockey. As others have already stated, the controls take a little time to master, but this is to be expected with any game. I loved this kind of hockey when I was a kid and this game is a nice implementation of the real thing. Besides the great graphics, I love the customization options with creating teams, modifying their uniforms, and even modifying the rink. Another great feature is the stats that it keeps. It gives you a chance to keep track of how great or mediocre you are...
So far, I've only won a few games outright on easy mode though I have several OT wins. If you expect to win every time (as I think so many people who write bad reviews do), you will be sadly disappointed. I've gotten better with practice on this game and enjoy it more now that I've figured out better ways to score.

Great game
Controls are tough at first but after two or three games you get on to them. Rod hockey was not easy either so I think they nailed this game it rocks. Well worth the two bucks way to go guys!Ernbigmac

Great Game
The controls are straight forward but a bit difficult to get used to. Give it some time though, you'll get used to it. The team creator is great. Just load some of the NHL logos from your pc/mac to your iPod, mess around with the other jersey settings, and you get the jerseys to look pretty close to what they look like in the NHL. Only issue I see right now is that the puck bounces a bit too much. Other than that it's a lot of fun.Show lessRobPara

Tough to control at first but after a few games it gets much easier. Definitely reminds me of playing table hockey growing up. Wish there were NHL teams though.ryandky

Not good
Good idea, but it needs work. Wrong players swinging at the puck, almost impossible to pull puck out of the corner and keep control of it at the same time. I would be interested maybe once some updates are done.bigg shooter
Neat idea - not there yet
When you are used to controlling your table hockey players with a stick... it is very frustrating to try and move them using the touch screen. I can't wait to see this game on an iPad where you have a bit more room to see the game - fingers get in the way on an iTouch. Also, it is also very easy to touch the home button and you lose all progress in the game you are playing - very frustrating if you are in a tournament. I do see potential.Show lessPenquins Progress
