  • A magic index card for your brain.

Surely a negative review of this app could only come from missing the point. The psychic shift that occurs with the instantaneous transition to true readiness to type, with no poking, tapping, touching, swiping, or selecting required (or even allowed), and no looming commitment to filing, filename, ultimate use, or even continued existence, is profound. I appreciate it.

  • Very Nice 

I write stories constantly- this is where I write 'em! I email it to myself and then it's on my computer for later! The only thing is that I wish there was more than one page. But autosave is nice. Well done. 
  • Irony of similarity

Notes isn't as good as draft pad! I hav found that notes is a good system that allows multiple documents to be saved, however the format of draftpad is much more comfortable even though they do essentially the same thing. I am writing this reveiw on notes because I think it is ironic! But draftpad is definitiley better!

  • Great app, but...

The word counter is off a bit. So if you want to keep track of your words you'll need to get a word counting app. Thankfully the copy all feature makes moving it to a word counter really easy.
  • Very Similar to "Notes"

I got the DraftPad app for my iPod touch. It is very similar to the "Notes" app that comes with the iPod-you can send via email, and copy paste. The few differences are helpful, however. There is a zoom in feature, and the text font is easier to read than in "Notes". The keyboard is the same as "Notes", so there isn't a period or comma key. This is different for the iPad-it has more keys. There is only 1 page, so you have to separate notes. Overall, this is a very good app-espectally considering that it is free!! It is also useful for email composition.

  • Minimal, almost perfect

I use this for random notes and after a few days I like it a lot. The one addition I wish for is a search function to find and highlight a word. I could then just keep notes in one giant memo, or cut and paste to other programs as needed.
  • Looks too simple yet it's so useful

I have this on my homepage for when I'm on the phone and need to quickly jot down some info. Rather than fumble with some journal app I click on this and immediately a blank sheet pops up to make a quick note. Easy. And unlike sticky note apps this app is just an uncluttered and clean white page. Everytime you open the app all your previous entries are there in full view, unlike the default iPhone Notes app.

Sometimes you want fancy and sometimes you need easy.
