However, if you want to join the walks, it is highly recommended that you download a Full Version of this app. The Full Version includes detailed walk route maps to guide you from one sight to the next.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

The description indicates that the lite version has all features except walk routes and navigation. However it does not even provide street names other than for main roads, making the map pretty useless in an old town like Strasbourg. Also, the app frequently failed to display properly. Eg several times I had two copies of the map tool ribbon superimposed at the top of the map, and when I returned to the main menu it would only fill half the screen. Tho only fix I found was to close the app, kill it in the background, and restart it again.
I won't pay for the full version if its foundation is so unstable and maps so inadequate.
