This is a massive update to release Gardenate as a universal app! It can be used on your iPads as well as your phones. We've improved usability (recording plantings is more streamlined, the app pre-selects your recent garden bed when planting in garden or adding to wish list, and improved visibility of the options for sowing/seed trays/planting when you add your own plants) and fixed changing diary dates.

  • Love it!

I am loving this app. It’s fairly simple once you get used to it. I love the companion planting, and succession planting notes.

I do wish you could add custom plants, flowers, or trees. I do love how you can take pictures although I haven’t figured out how to add an existing picture.

I also wish you could sort items by the bed/place they were planted … my planting gets a little crazy and sometimes it would be nice to be able to sort by beds so I could figure out what I have growing.

It would also be nice to see what should be coming ready to harvest soon on the app.

I definitely recommend this to others and love telling people about… great work!!!
  • Almost perfect

I’ve found this app helpful to keep me organized and has nearly everything I would like. I love the planting suggestions for my area and the wish list with separate garden list. A couple thing I’d love to see added: the ability to add a quantity if you add a plant directly to the garden list. The ability to make a custom plant that isn’t on your list (love that you can edit harvest time and variety though!). Might be helpful to have the ability to see a spreadsheet of all your plants by week, month, year. Thanks for creating a useful app!
