Great Wiki Reader, Superb Technical Support

Wikipanion plus has been *the* Wiki reader for me since I do not remember when (many iPads ago, certainly). I am heavy on math and science reading, so I was dismayed when blank boxes appeared in place of displayed equations and formulas. While I rarely seek technical support for Apps, this problem badly impacted my research routine. Response to my issue was quick, personal, and thorough. I am simply delighted at the quality of technical support, and to have my research tool working at its best. Great program, wonderful App creator.

Needs full screen view

Is there an option to hide the queue side panel and view articles in full screen? The side panel causes formatting issues on some articles and makes them more difficult to read. Great app otherwise, but please add hide queue panel function for a 5-star review.

Was Great..... last update

The text that said it was fixing an issue that caused it to run slow, they fixed that on iPad Pro (9.3) as now it crashes instantly when the application opens.

Feature rich & excellent

1st - I read Wikipedia & the dictionary, so most people would consider me a geek.

This App is well done, if offline articles are great.

All this app needs is a way to sync Bookmarks via iCloud.

Good wiki reader with a few flaws

Good Wiki reader with a few flaws:

1) Large fonts and tables are not rendered properly resulting in the user having to scroll Back and forth to read.
2) In landscape mode, you cannot use the full screen as the left side (bookmarks, etc.) won't collapse.
3) Poor and confusing cross device support. There should be one set of merged bookmarks across all devices instead if a list per device.

Very good

Nearly perfect. Black background with white text please for at night.

Easily the best Wikipedia app

Far and away the best Wikipedia app. I utilise the offline save feature constantly. The only feature missing is a 'black' background nighttime reading option.

Great app

One of my most used app on the ipad. Used the free version for a long time, then thought i might as well reward the author for his work. Queue feature in paying version is quite useful too.

Review from a "Real" user!

Update helped crashes "a little bit". BUT, the storage/filing system for saving articles for offline reading is absolutely the most BIZARRE and UNFRIENDLY system you can possibly imagine. Until the developer changes that forget trying to save articles for offline reading... Save your money and go get a beer instead!

Prior review:

2 stars because you can get Wiki articles - End of any good points.

The bookmark/filing system is so bizarre and complex you can just forget trying to use them. For $5 it is a waste! I purchased it for the ability to save articles offline. You may as well just hand copy the article it would be faster than using their system.

Almost 3y

Firmly feel this is the best way to read Wikipedia. The queue, suppressing editing, reformatting fonts. This was one of the first apps I paid money for, and probably the ONLY site-specific app I use.
