Worthwhile app if one enjoys the sound of Tibetan bowls.
I would give it a fourth star if there were several more bowls with different tones and a fifth star for a built in recorder so that we could create our own music. As is, I don't think it's worth the 2 bucks.therockindoc

Musical and meditative
I can see several wonderful uses for this app. I love the sounds and the authenticity. I can't wait to check out recordings of tibetan bowls and try to emulate them. I have already did one multitrack recording with my guitar and this app and it sounds great!K2

Tibetan Bowl App
This is a great app. I also have a CD of Tibetan Bowls. You can actually play the bowls along with the recording for an enhanced effect. I like the way the sound continues for a long time after you tap or swirl the bowl. I also like the chimes, gongs, and bells.NoodleJT
Lovely
The sounds on this app are quite remarkable. The only difference between this app and my own singing bowl is the volume and "ethereal" resonance. Other than that, it's wonderful!Brrasie

I like the singing bowls. I wish you had. Added. A few large gongs.
Also the sound of the bowls cut out before it reaches absolute stillness.
The following of the sound into stillness is the purpose of the bowl.

Wonderful but...
This is simply lovely, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a recording feature pleeeeaaase! Would be wonderful for a truly relaxing experience without having to operate the bowls. Hope you will consider. Thanks so much!!Lexbrook
Not satisfied
I know it says " best experienced with ear buds" but that is the ONLY way it can be experienced. Even with earbuds, and the volume as high as I can set it, it is difficult to hear the sounds. I do not understand why these bowls can't be heard without earbuds or hooking the IPad to an external sound system. I do not have this problem with other instrumental apps.DanitaGN
