  • Beautiful and Useful

This app is amazing! I can't wait for the full version.

    Things is like:

Really easy to learn and use, which means you can focus on your content.
Love the abIlity to put different media in each popple (box)
Love the ability to link popples
Love the ability to customize the appearance of popples by just clicking the little icons
Love the versatility, not tied (bogged) down to one use.
Sleek, simple and professional user interface!

    Would like to see...

A fast text entry box for quick succession popple creation. Good for brainstorming?
The ability to put arrows on the link lines
    Save & Load multiple "boards"
Pick a board background, maybe even just different textures

  • Nothing else out there like it.

I love this app. The design and execution are excellent. It is very efficient at allowing me to quickly get thoughts from my brain onto the iPad. The interface also helps boost creativity. One of the other significant strengths is the very large workspace. I am looking forward to the full version that will allow us to save each workspace. Lastly, I was also impressed with their support; I sent them an e-mail with a question and got a quick reply.

  • Absolutely Wonderful.

Simple, intuitive, and effective; if you are a "visual" thinker, then this is for you. I used to try to cary a small paper notebook around to organize myself, but I never had the notebook with me. Even if I did, the reminders were all on different pages. This app makes it easy to 'mind map' my life. I emailed the developer and they told me that an iPhone version is in the works, as well as a web based version - so now I will have my notes everywhere I go; the web site at the time of this writing was a little confusing because it was not clearly stated that a web version of the app was coming - but it is.

  • Great simple design tool

This is a really great way to throw down ideas. Anything that needs a simple flow chart is easy to create.

I know this is still the free version, but while your developing it, some nice features would be nested items, the option to change the color and add text to the line connecting items, and different shaped items. Try not to lose the simple elegance you have going on right now.

  • Exciting potential

This is the kind of app the iPad was made for. The lite version is pretty much a teaser, but download it to get a glimpse of the huge potential of a "future" full version. It will be used by students of all ages, cooks, budding graphic designers, scientists... you name it. Popplet is intuitive, easy, uncomplicated. I want to see how future versions handle exports of boards to the web, to other mobile devices, and to a storage/printer device. When that's ready I'll give it five stars.

  • Wow!

This is such a quality application and such a tease, I can't wait to see the completed app with the collaboration features and all the rest.

It's so simple to start, totally approachable, beautifully programmed and visually designed, that I'm looking for excuses to put it to use.

Don't get me wrong, this program has a long way to go before it is feature complete (there has GOT to be a way to paste web links with thumbnails--that would be so cool and useful!!!) but the world needs to know about it, because Popplet will become a killer app on almost any platform and on the iPad, wow, so much fun.

  • Page one app!

This is one of those applications that, for me, works the way I think it should and want it to. My primary use is for to do list because I can link related items in chains and assign colors to indicate priority. I also use it to take notes and make plans for projects using maps. It's great in project planning meetings. It's one of those apps that makes you really appreciate the benefits of the iPad interface. It takes no time to understand the principles and feel like a pro. I had a couple of questions for the developer and heard back from them hours later with not only answers but a great explanation of what is in development. I can't wait for the full version. It's evident Jared and his team really care about and create a great user experience. Like I said, even though it's a lite version, it has already made it to the top of my home page and along with Penultimate, is what I use to impress my Windows coworkers who think the iPad is like a tablet PC.

  • Excellent key application

    Awesome.

I am using Popplet to manage my BIG PICTURE ACTIONS for company leadership? Very easy application to get started with, use and share.

Truly I have been wanting this application for a long time. I am managing partner for a business consultancy and an avid user of Mindjet MindManager, OneNote and Outlook Notes-Ipad notes.

I am using Popplet-lite to keep a top level of major priorities - projects, people and partnerships - clients - and personal. Ai am adding an area every few days.

Just used it today to explain the firm strategy. Excellent to share one-one with clients and consultants.

WIll probably use it in combination with another app to keep detailed actions. Not sure what that is just yet...

  • Excellent app... Looking forward to future releases

I see a lot of potential with this and plan on using it a lot in the future! Aside firm the speed and stability issues (yes, I realize it's only a few days after launch), I'd really like to see a few enhancements to make it VERY useful. First of all, some sort of browser integration so images can be pulled in from the Internet. Second, a way to either bring in PDF files or else have somewhat more advanced tools for type and layout.

Great tool, and can't wait to see how it evolves over time!
