When it works, it

I have the paid version, and while I'm aware I only spent ninety-nine cents on it, I'd still like to see it be a little more reliable. The thing is that my neighbor and I can walk 6 days a week, and for 5 it might be fine, but then one day it will tell me I walked 11 minutes (we walk about an hour). We've had fun watching our average MPH increase, checking how far we've gone, how long we've walked, and then randomly, it won't work at all. I can carry it in the pocket of a fleece vest and it works fine, but in the pocket of a hoodie it stops and starts. I put it in an Armpocket the other day, and it recorded half the walk. I feel like I always need a backup plan if I want to actually use my walk as "exercise". Since I'm using Lose It!, I want to know if I walked for 35 minutes, or 55.

I have to say that when it stays on for the entire walk, it's great. I just don't understand why it does or doesn't always do that.

One Problem

This App is great! It counts distance, steps, & calories burned. You can play music while you walk/run, and a graph shows your progress. One problem: it only goes to 3000 steps. After that you can never use (unless you buy the dollar version).

Amazing!

I would and have recommend this to anybody it not only counts your steps but also tells you how far you have ran ,how many calories ,average pace ,and also let's you listen to your own music I live this app!

Free version

Without knowing it I tried the Free Version but found the limit of 3,000 steps far too short to make any real assesment. This for me was only one and a half miles, nowhere long enough for accurate testing. This is why I can only give it a 2 Star rating.
However it did seem to work well so I have now purchased the full version and will do another Feedback on that when I have fully tested it.

Steps

I set this app up and started my workout i had done 69 mins on the treadmill only to find it had stopped counting at 3000 steps and 24 mins!! Gutted tbh if i had know but good app played music at same time but could here the clicking (a bit off puttin!) at least i knew it worked :-)

Awful

Had this app for about 20 minutes. It's horrid! If you hold the phone in your hand, it won't calculate the pace your going and doesn't count steps correctly but if you put it in your pocket, the screen will go black and not count your steps at all. And yes I turned my sleep mode off and it still did it. Dont waste your time on this app.

Elegance in design and functionality

Perfect app! I am so impressed by the elegance and accuracy. I have tried a number of pedometer apps and none come close to yours. Thanks for your great thinking and anticipation of others' needs.

Ace

It's really good but it stops when people text me. It would be better if it could still be on in the background and not drain the battery so much

Brilliant

You take your phone wherever- now even shopping can count as well as serious exercise.

fragile

The three thousand step limit is, of course, silly. There's no way I can figure out if this thing is good if it dies at a mile and a third. I'm not cheap, but I value an opportunity to try something out before I buy it. This is free but not worth it and is only a bad advertisement for the dollar version. These guys have let me know how good they are, which is not very good, and for that they deserve thanks.

I can break this every time I use it in several ways, which will be unexplored since this thing's been deleted. This app's writers don't know the meaning of the word "robust" but they have mastered "brittle".

Being of no value AND deleted gets you a single star. There's a lot of that; look above.
