Scoreboard broken and other issues
This is a nice game. Sure you are pestered by adds but once you reach a certain level you can turn them off. Yes you often don't get the promised $'s for installing and opening one of the games promoted by the adds. Yes you do have to buy the exchange via an in app purchase to allow you to progress further in the game.
But my biggest disappointment is that the leaderboard and scoring system are broken after you reach level 150. The designers say this is due to there being no more levels at the moment past 150, but in my opinion this should not stop you from gaining any more points beyond 113,251 and your score should still increase and be reflected in the leaderboard. Take a look at the scoreboard on the iPhone and you will find that the top 12,000+ players of all time all have exactly the same score.
The developers say that there are more levels coming, but they won't say when that will be or if this problem will be fixed. They also fail to see this scoring issue as a problem at all, so I wouldn't hold your breath for it to be fixed anytime soon unless a significant number of people affected complain to them about it.
I would have given this 4 or 5 stars, but because of these problems, lack of developer understanding and willingness to fix them, I feel it is only fair to give it two, which is a shame as I wanted to give it more.Show lessBT_DEV

Fun game, awesome graphics, clever. have really loved playing this game over the last 3-4 months. Really worried as I'm on level 108 and there are only 150 levels, I'll be really sad when I've played them all! Hope I have the option to sell all my fish and aquariums and use the capital to start from the top again!Show lessNzsoprano
Almost Perfect
This is AMAZING the only reason I did not give it the full 5stars is that I think the scale is too large - it would be more interesting with smaller fish and items to allow greater depth at the front so that fish can swim amongst things more. One other thing I noticed is that the AI could be improved so that species swim in pairs or shoals. I have not yet tried the freshwater (my main interest so more fish, plants, stems etc please).
Well done, this beats many I have tried on full-blown computers. Please support this app by buying the added function etc so that they keep on adding to this, already wonderful, app...
One minor jiggle is that it can take a bit too much time for things to develop. Personally I would rather have double the number of levels with only half of the extra items available in each level but taking half the time to grow/breed/hatch. I think this slight mod would make it more exciting and broaden the appeal. As it currently stands it can get a little frustrating waiting to breed for hours then having to wait again for eggs to hatch (live bearers?).
I hope the developers read this, I really enjoyed this app and do not usually spend time on reviews but I felt this app deserved my support, investment and feedback - thanks guys ;-)Show lessWickermanXXX

Really fun. I play this with my three year old, buying, selling, feeding, decorating etc. It's good in that it takes a limited amount of time say twice a day so even if you're really addicted to it there's a limit to how long it'll keep you entertained for per play.
We've been playing this on holiday and I really recommend it!

Very good game , takes a bit long too start getting good fish in your tank if your not prepared to buy money which is a let down . All in all good fun. The more fish the betterChris Cooper11
Gorgeous graphics
The animations on the fish are amazing, and the fish are so realistic. They don't die if you forget about them, they just stop growing till you feed them again.
Only negative is earning coins & leveling is slow going, you have to continue investing all your money until you can afford higher profit fish, and if you do forget to feed them leveling can take ages. But it's not a bad little app, even for the casual player if you don't care about that =)
I was disappointed when I found there's no Siamese Fighter (Betta) for the freash water tanks though. That's my favorite fish, & they can go well with most non-fantailed fish (that can't eat them). You just can't place males together.Show lessDanOobies

Love this game! Great graphics, tons of fish, multiple tanks, with the buy sell and breed feature it holds my interest. Check in several times a day to buy / sell / upgrade / breed / feed. Like real life, it takes time to build up your value and collections. Sometimes I relax just watching the amazing fish. Or browse the store to see what I can afford next. So far, the only real $ invested is to enable the exchange. You don't need to do that to give it a try, so go ahead and download it for free!Show lessDave the fish fanatic.....
