Will I still need to watch the ads after purchase?

After purchase “kill the ads” for $6 still need to watch the ads to get the gold, that’s fraud!

Well done, excellent game!

Tl;dr: easy controls, auto-mute ads, good game.

I’ve beaten and returned to SK multiple times, let me explain why.

It’s a twin stick wizard blasting game. You fight hordes of undead with your growing magic as you fight to stop Solomon. The core idea is simple, controls are easy, and it’s never hard to grasp how you control your power.

Solomon keeps expanding his forces, as do you. Both your play style and enemies will evolve as you level up and clear floors. Powerful items will shape how you cover your weaknesses or amplify your strengths. New foes will keep you on your feet, and SK moves fast enough to never feel stale.

SK is not an ad-blasting “mobile” game. In any game I have never seen one so friendly with its ads. Most games will have ultra loud ads at every opportunity. SK’s own music is way louder than any ad… because they automatically mute all of them for you. Tried amping volume to max during one, nothing.

When Wi-Fi is off, SK does still have ads. But these are for their other games and have an X visible from the start, very unobtrusive.

On top of all that, SK doesn’t ask for payment. It’s just a fun little game from the old days.

Overall, SK is a blast, a perfect little game to fit on your phone. It’d fair well on anything, though, from Xbox to PC. It’s no “mobile game”, but a piece of tech just waiting to jive you joy. To the devs, good work on making a beautiful game and keeping it beautiful!

One of the best game if…

We didn’t have pub how can you remove it it’s a reel pain…

Solid game

13 years later, I still love picking up this game and playing it for hours. Would love if they updated it with controller support. I wish they would come out with a sequel or something. The only issue I have though is that although I paid for this and Solomon’s boneyard back in 2010, I still get ads. Restoring purchases does nothing. Had reached out to support and they gave me codes to get rid of the ads. However, with me having new devices, the ads came back.

Amazing game!

Seriously. I played the crap out of this game as a kid. So excited that it stayed playable to this day!

Bring this back!!!

Update this game please!!! This game is awesome

Awesome concept, Hoping for some updates.

Absolutely fantastic. Always a ‘come back to’ game for me. Knowing how little it is out there, its been made really well for an old game. Found it when i was little on my dads phone and since then its always been floating around mine ;-)
I would be really keen for some upgrades, new spells or spell combinations. Maybe even spell combination combinations. XD

Cheers

Now there’s ads?

I bought this app years ago (10?) and just decided to get back into it only to discover there’s now ads everywhere. How obnoxious, guess there’s a statute of limitations on your purchase…..poor form

Childhood favorite

I played this game years and years ago when it first came out, and loved it. I reinstalled it a month ago and have been playing it and having even more fun then before! Now that I’m an adult I finally get some of the subtle things the passive skills do. Super cool game.

Still good after all these years

Update many years later:
Solomon’s Keep holds up well. I just played through in 2021 and am still pleased with the game.

Solomon's Keep is a fine RPG. Not the best one for the iOS I've ever played, but it's still fun. It's a bit limited, though. It's weak on plot, you can only choose from one character, and all your attacks are magical ranged weapons, but it's still a fun game. The graphics are quite good, even when blown up on my tablet, and the shapes of the levels are randomly generated so you can play through multiple times. I've spent quite a few hours playing this game, going through it twice. If you're looking for an inexpensive iOS RPG, you probably won't be disappointed by this one.
