This is my favorite iPad game. I can play and play. However on the last update they added a spider to the icon. I want to smash the spider. It kinda freaks me out ;)cobbieg

I've been playing the free version of this app for ages on my iPhone, so figured I owe it to Eric to pay for it at last. I love the laziness of the wriggling card hints that jump to their spot with a tap. I also like that there are infinite undos.
Improvements? A score board that shows my top ten scores and times and auto stack when the suit is complete.Show lessMoonhorn
Fun, but..
I am enjoying this hame but it is frustrating when you accept any hint and it moves your card to your least likely choice, making one use extra moves. Otherwise it is a good game. i would have rated it higher if the hint feature worked better.Cheneyfox
Beautiful but limited
Graphics are great, and the app plays well. But after years of playing online solitaire, I am frustrated that there is no way to replay a game. You can either quit or keep going, but new game is exactly that: a whole different game.katch61
Fastest Game Play Around
I've played Eric's games for years so I have certain expectation when he releases a new game. Spider Solitaire delivers.
The key difference in Eric's solitair games vs. other is his quick tap move. I never have to drag and drop. If I tap a card it will fly to the correct spot, unless there is more than one spot. In that case is chooses one. And if it is not the one you wanted, tap again.

Another fantastic game from Sniderware
I've been playing Sniderware games from way back in my Palm OS days. Their apps have always been well-designed with great gameplay. This Spider game is just another example of the quality apps you can expect from them. It has several game variations, with customizations, and stats. I love this guy
Have both his Klondike and Spider games. He just knows how to write addictive, intuitive card games. Please do more!!! Freecell, Pyramid, Cribbage, Gin, you name it, I will buy it and probably be hooked like I am on these two.
I still love this game but even the most recent version, as mentioned by another poster here, does crash at the most inopportune times. It seems to crash when you take an inordinate amount of moves to beat a deal. Perhaps a problem with too large an undo stack? Particularly frustrating when you are just about to beat a very hard hand. Maybe the author can isolate and fix one issue with an otherwise, still stellar game.Show lessBohicette
