I have probably played 10,000 games on your app. It is getting very smart and very hard to beat. Congratulations- I can only imagine the AI behind it all. My complaint is this: far too often, my hand looks very much like the previous hand. State X should be independent of state y. I realize your stats show randomness, but I have a strong sense that it ain’t quite so

Good version, as long as you know about Skat already
The automated players are reasonably competent and the game play is good.
The graphics are pretty good, including 3 styles of cards, and you can pick and choose from a good range of variations in the rules, just like non-tournament players.
The big problem is that almost everything is in German, including all the information about Skat as a game. Even the parts translated are in foreigner's English - e.g. "Speedy did play Grand". So if the game is new to you, you should read the Pagat web site, or a card games book by David Parlett. It's worth doing so, as Skat is a game well worth trying.
The other point worth knowing is that this app doesn’t include playing games with other online humans.

We are delighted that you like our app. If you spot some translation glitches please let us know about it via the 'contact' button in our app. You can play with others online, but only with your friends. The app does currently not perform any match-making with strangers. If you have questions about it, let us know. Keep on having fun with Skat and gut Blatt!

I enjoy playing Skat and this is the only way I can. The most aggravating moment is when my partner does not return my lead or occasionally throws a ten on the opponent's trick. Much better than nothing.

Plays very dumb moves. When it suggests moves you will lose. Pathetic. Get a smarter program.
