FAN-TASTIC APP!!!
I have owned an iPhone since the very first one was released, which was before the App Store even existed. In all that time I don’t think I’ve ever written an app review. This app is soooo good that I felt compelled to add positive feedback for the creator of this app. First of all it’s a very simple news reading app. Really it is completely unnecessary. But the execution is so well done that I would prefer to read news articles this way. It really is a labor of love to create an LCARS interface that is completely true to the show while also being perfectly functional. It appears that the app is not longer being actively supported but PLEASE keep it going. Build on this. I would be willing to pay for more and I’m sure others would as well. Fantastic job!

Love it
Never been one for RSS, but love Star Trek. Had a LCARS background for the computer and wanted a theme. Couldn’t find but this app makes up for it. News with a great view. Easy to use and looks good. Can manually enter RSS feeds and comes with a handful of tech based RSS feeds.

Beware the Google
It’s actually not a bad application, but the inability to change from the Google search engine and associated products is a non-starter. It’s not that it doesn’t work....it’s the whole ‘being evil’ thing and having them shadow your every move across the internet. Not to mention their commitment to destroying freedom of speech and the constitution in general. Not a bad app, just a bad company!

This is such a nicely designed app! I’d love to see the developer design other apps such as email, calendar, weather and more!
Authentic Experience
Really enjoying this app! You can add your own RSS feeds, making this app super useful for everyone. The Star Trek interface is authentic and nostalgic. Just love it! Wish we had more ways to bring the Star Trek experience to our iPhones.
Solid RSS reader with some minor issues
Really captures the LCARS feel of Star Trek, looks good on both iPhone and iPad. Personally I really like it on iPad in landscape mode, much as I love the animated graphics the landscape mode gets rid of half of them and makes it feel less gimmicky.
The minor issues I find are the iCloud sync is buggy, after setting up my RSS feeds on one device it wiped them from the other, and it’s only the sources that seem to be synced, not which articles have already been read.
The only other issue I’ve encountered so far is when adding new feeds it loads up a browser for you to navigate to the required RSS feed page, but I think it would be better to also have the option to just copy/paste a link into a box instead.

Skeptic turned into an enjoyable app
I’d seen this app and others in the past and thought it was laughable to have such. An app for a newsfeed. Then late last night I couldn’t sleep and read the latest reviews on this. I’d been looking for something that had LCARS and decided to give this a try. Boy was I not disappointed. There was more here than I expected. Not only could I add my favorite news feeds. I could also customize the apps font size, the red alert as classic or next gen, the color of the app, and even have the hum of the Enterprise D bridge sounds in the background while I use the app. I can finally fall asleep to bridge sounds at night instead of the Warp Core Alexa plays. Thank you ot the creator of this app. I encourage more app creations like this for other features to be enjoyed on a phone or tablet.

Fantastic App
I would love an entire OS just like this, but more user friendly. I use it to browse pol, and I often want to look at the pictures (which would be cool to add), and browse other websites which I could like to add to the sources. It would also be super cool to have the computer talk to you, and you could ask it questions about startreck and other things.

Wish I had found it earlier
I love this app, I wish I would’ve found it 10 years ago! It’s better than the officially licensed PADD app!
