Not worth your time
Must pay in order for the app to be useful at all. The free version offers nothing.
Mass produced outsider-ware - but at least it's honest
Honestly, there are a lot of exciting and famous tours and self guided rambles in Edinburgh, from themed pub tours to ghost walks to historical. This 'app' I'm afraid looks as if it was compiled by an outsider using Wiki and online maps. Since they do '200 cities worldwide' this is quite possibly the case. Another app in the over-inflated travel app market. It is, however, more honest than most. The lite version is free. And although the authors have maybe never been to Edinburgh they have provided a map and accurately added material that could be derived from the web. It is not the blatant rip off of many travel apps. So maybe worthwhile if you are a lazy visitor and would rather use your iphone than pop into the Tourist Information Centre, scour the Internet, or use the free leaflets at the airport. Nice try - it works - just needs local knowledge.
