Works great over IP and Cell
I have a Y-Cam and an Axis M7001 video encoder. Had problems finding an app that could view both. NetcamViewer works and has been very reliable. I use this app on iPads and iPhones that are on my LAN and also outside the house with cellular access only. It performs perfectly with both methods. For the Y-Cam I had to select "Sharx" as the camera type in NetcamViewer setup. Was trial and error, but it works.
Now all they need to add an iPad native version of the app so it doesn't look jaggy.Show lessDogsAreGood
ISU watching
We use this to check on the Iowa State campus. We live 12 hours from campus. Our daughter goes there. We love using the cameras to check on campus weather and looks. The shots are always great! Iowa state has two great camera views.ISU family

This CCTV app for my work networked cameras works a treat, can check what's happening anytime of day or night, easy to set up and use, although configuring my CCTV network with individual ports etc proved a little more testing, but this is no reflection on this great little app - top notch guys 10/10Show lessDave Noodles
Amazing even with webcams
Works great with Foscam cameras as well as with webcams using YawCam. Set up YawCam for stream, setup user and pass in YawCam, use ip address from YawCam as well as port number. For camera type in netcam viewer select custom use /video.mjpg as path and enable the mjpg setting. Easy as that. Also works to view but not control the new Foscam FI9820 by adding the path /snap.jpg under the custom settingShow lessWhat ever here's a name
Pretty good overall.
Using this with a Foscam FI8910W. Setup was easy and have no problems viewing the camera feed.
Only complaint is with the PTZ function. When trying to use any of the PTZ features in the app, the camera will either move in the direction first selected until it can go no further and not respond to any further commands or the app will just crash.
As I said though, if you are just needing to view your cam, this app is easy to configure and use. PTZ features may be a different story depending on your camera.Show lessquantumdrift

Running on iPhone4S with IOS 6, last update fixes some issues using 3G works a treat every time from home wifi, shame the sound does"nt work other wise 5*. Using it to view several Axis cameras in re time. PTZ controls are sluggish so using pre set camera zones. Can't complain ad it free and better than some of the paid apps. Recommended for a quick and dirty solution. Would pay for version that had sound and PTZ controlShow lessBiBostin
