Fun - not a lot to say on this one. It's a simple concept and one that's easy to get caught up in coupled with a very cute art style.

You'll keep pushing to do a little bit better each time, and it's a game that's easy to get compettive with amongst the family. You could buy a lot worse and for a lot more money.

This is my favourite game for ipod touch.
the coolest game i have ever bought
  • Addicting, Awesome And so worth it

It really deserves to be number 1, This game has to be on my first page. Just can't wait to get it on ipad.

The graphics are great, cool game idea and yes it is worth it!
  • Hours of fun!

My girlfriend and I recently purged our iPhones of all games except 4, that we both kept. This is her favourite, and mine too! I love the challenge of getting to 2500 or even 5000 (haven't got there yet). It's similar to doodle jump but IMO much better as it encourages strategy and tactics as well as reflexes!

Best value for money, 59p is nothing compared to the hours I have spent on this game.

Go treat yourself; buy Trees of Doom today!

Developers for updates - Negatinja that when playing makes the screen negative, the ability to play your own background music from the iPod, and a score review system based on the ninja you used (so records for each ninja etc); also, more achievements!

    Thanks :)

  • Great fun

To be honest I'm rather tired of simulated D-Pads that are awkward to use. This game has perfect controls that make good use of the touchscreen. Very fun game. One issue: Past 1000 the game seems to dish out impossible combinations of obstacles. It would be great if this could be fixed.

Comment for reviewer below: In that case, how do you pass the long parallel streams of purple goo?

Absolute winner, couldn't be any better in my opinion. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the difficulty level after hitting 1000 like some people have suggested, each obstacle has a pattern and it's just a matter of working it out, it's only difficult if you can't do it ;)

Successfully made it past 3000 but can't stop there! So addictive, Love it!

  • Hmm

I think the most contrevercial issue here is whether this game is 4 or 5 stars. The graphics of the game are amazing, and anyone will find them endeering, as well as the gameplay, fun, easy to use, and very engaging.

The only criticism I have, is the lack of variety, with only 2 modes it surely is a bit limited, and the gameplay simply involves jumping between two trees. This is the reason for the 4 star review.

In conclusion, this is a fun use of 10 minutes of ur time but that's it :) worth 59p, not more.

  • Good & a tough challenge

Tough one this. The controls are spot on & responsive so failing is simply down to dealing with the enemy pattern you are given.

All in all, a high quality game that I play very regular.

Devs: If you're happy with suggestions, perhaps tracking peoples success rate with each enemy pattern, & for the ones that trip the player up, send those patterns earlier on in their game so they can get straight on to working them out rather that playing through a set for a while only to fail on a particular roughy that's not seen enough to learn. If repeated fails continue increase the chance of a slowdown power up to give them an edge on those tricky ones. (I hope I've explained that well enough).

  • Addictive, fun, well designed

I am not a big gamer but Ninjatown Trees of Doom is something that I love. It is an extremely simple game to understand (so much so that my 4 year old son can play it well and he is also a huge fan), and it offers plenty of new gameplay as you progress through the game. What I really like though is the simple but beautiful graphics, the music and sound and the wonderful characters that appear within. I installed this game about two weeks ago and have yet to reach 2000 points so there is plenty of gameplay left. I highly recommend this game for people of all ages. It is a great example of a fun, non violent, simple and addictive game on the platform.
